I think Rayman Origins/Legends fits that pretty perfectly. Spelunky has platforming in it and it's kind of cute, but it's very difficult too.

Rayman Legends is my pick, but sadly it was a flash some days ago.
Alternatively there are the classic Sonic games, which hold up really well.
There's also Fez too.

The cheapest I can find it for is 10 keys which is around $22.

I just can't justify breaking the $15 mark for any one game during a steam sale. It's almost like a psychological protection, with my wallet in mind.

The only time an encore set of deals has been after a sale is the Winter Sale of 2012. In every other case they've been on the final day of the sale itself.

It's easier than you think~ To give away a Steam Inventory item, you simply send the Inventory item as a gift to your email, and then copy and paste the URL you have to click to claim the game, and give that to Modbot in the way you'd give a Steam key to Modbot.
