I am somehow resisting the urge to buy New Vegas. Probably because I still need to finish Fallout 3.

However, I may crack on something else. I'll determine what it will be if the pages will load.

Am I missing two sales? :/ I only see 7.
It does that sometimes for me when it first changes over. Give it a few minutes.

Sweet, Alpha Protocol is one of the only things I had my eye out for. Now, just waiting for Bloodlines to daily deal...

Also I have warband already so should I avoid fire and sword? I thought I remember seeing most fans were unhappy with it and prefer warband.

Buying Frozen Synapse for sure, will join any 2 pack if people are offering.

And Trine for 2 dollars is hard to pass up.

And me and my friend were just talking last night about our memories of pc gaming and how much we played Doom and custom Wads, that is tempting to pick up for a nostalgia trip.

So is Alpha Protocol is like Mass Effect meets Metal Gear Solid?

I've been eyeing it for a long time, but I really have no idea what it's like.

Get Alpha Protocol. PC version is actually a decent game... I turned the 360 version off after about 30 minutes, heh.

That's a sick price for Mount and Blade.

Any comments as to how good it is? Never tried M&B.

Underneath those horrid visuals is a pretty deep rpg'ish hack and slash game (still not sure I do this game justice)

Single player is pretty good but where it really shines IMO is on MP mods with this one being the best there is:

C-RPG

"cRPG is a multiplayer mod to Warband where you can gain XP/Gold and level your character and buy your own equipment. It features more equipment than native, clans and deployable ladders, among many other novelties. It has partially evolved into Strategus, a strategic level browser based game, with a world map, npc soldiers, caravans and more."

Imagine 50 vs 50 games where one team defends the castle and the other has to storm it!

AWESOME

How are the Fallout New Vegas DLC? Haven't followed anything from that game since I finished it week after release.

I want New Vegas but lol I haven't even played FO3 yet.
Good, you can skip straight to NV which is the superior game in every aspect. Pick up the DLC as well while you are at it.

Between this and the Best Buy sale, everyone should buy New Vegas. Best RPG of this generation for me.

Awesome. Dead Money is a really story driven, location focused piece. Made for higher level characters and is really a twist on the gameplay you are used to up to that point. Very fun. Around 8 hours to complete.

Honest Hearts is set in a much more open and beautiful setting. Less story focused and more about exploring, but still really fun. 6-8 hours to complete.

Gah, how the hell have I not bought anything so far this sale?
I feel weird saying that everyday when the site updates. There's almost nothing I ever want, although today Frozen Synapse is finally on sale.

I am definitely up for a frozen synapse two-pack. I will buy. First person to quote the post, PM me and we'll set it up.

Kind of pissed off at Steam. I was just about to make a last minute purchase on AC2, apparently I can't login to my account because I'm accessing it from my laptop. So I then VPN'd into my main machine and it locked me out there as well. Been like 20 mins since then and still haven't received the passcode on gmail.

I assume this is due to Steam Guard... just found out it was enabled, though I never opted into it.

Ehhh, today's kinda lacking for me. There ARE games that I kinda want, but too scared to buy them and then regret that I have no money when there are more sales.

I was decided to grab Frozen Synapse... But I won't.

Alpha Protocol apparently isn't available where I live too, so I guess I won't be picking up anything today.

No, it's just like Mass Effect but with James Bond the superior asshole.

So I checked and my local BB has new vegas in stock for $10! It is steamworks, so I can just activate the cd-key on steam and everything would be the same correct? Just wanted to make sure, want to grab the game today so I can get cheap DLC.

Also thinking about Mount & Blade although I already own warband (which is fucking awesome, mods or no), Fire & Steel looks temping for $4 even if people say warband is superior.

Alpha protocol is one of the best RPGs/shooters since deus ex. It's as if deus ex and mass effect 1 had a baby. My only advice is to jump around from area to area as you'll get a much better experience than if you just stick to one area and finish it.

I have most of the highlights, but New Vegas and Alpha Protocol are must haves. Bully is great, too, I'll post the FPS fix later if anyone needs it.

AWESOME

cRPG is only for Warband, not Fire and Sword

For anyone thinking Alpha Protocol is good, must be insane. Once again GAF Hivemind making up stuff.

The gameplay and graphics are terrible, the story is the only good thing, which is why GAF loves it.

Also, another day, another terrible daily deal sale.

I'm assuming Frozen Synapse is worth it, though I have no idea what it is. Anybody want to go in for a split? I'll buy if you'd like and you can just Paypal gift me.

*edit*

Played Alpha Protocol twice on 360, is there any reason for me to play the PC version?

much better performance? Ive never played it though but heard it wasnt very optimized on consoles.

Ill be snatching it up though.

Frozen Synapse 2pack for 12 bucks. Worth it.

Bionic Commando 09 is so much fun vs friends with M/KB. I've been meaning to download that again.

lol What are they smoking? Franchise sale without Fallout 3. Do they have official policy not to have a sale on that game or something?
