Can someone please explain to me what this game is? The videos and description really aren't helping.

Frozen Synapse was pretty neat looking game going by some YouTube vids. That and Doom 3 will be my ;) cant believe i haven't played Doom 3 yet :eek:

Well, today is definitely the biggest day for me
Alpha Protocol, Doom, Mount and Blade F+S.

2nd question. Serious Sam HD. Are they worth it? Or is it just better to stick with the original two?

3rd Question. Anyone want to go half and half on FS? Since they give you two copies right?

Frozen Synapse is a turned based tactical shooter with a really cool aesethetic and great sound.

The hook however, is this:

You control 3 dudes and tell them where to go, which way to face, to be ready to fire, ignore fire, duck, etc. But the computer or other players are directing their guys at the SAME time. Once everyone has submitted their directions, it shows all the guys moving simultaneously, running around, shooting at one another, etc.

Then the next round starts and you put in your commands again.

It is sort of like Rainbow Six Chess that looks like Tron.

It's awesome.

Fallout 3 vs New Vegas. What is the difference? Do I need to know the Fallout 3 story? I'm still wondering why we can't have a Fallout 3 sale as well, pisses me off.

Yeah, just the one game + that game's dlc doesn't really strike me as meeting the definition of a "franchise" sale for a 5 game franchise :p

Nothing really jumping out at me today. This sale has been kind of good so far, my wallet hasn't been very molested as yet. I either own everything or am not interested.
