Just Cause 2 is so fun. I haven't gotten past the tutorial level, but zooming around with the grapple hook is awesome. It looks pretty great too (and I have to keep most of the setting on low since I'm playing it on my laptop and want a solid 60 fps).

Oh and Trine is pretty fun too. I got to say though, I really fucking hate the thief.

I just noticed Nation Red is on sale for 3.40. Everyone who likes twin stick shooters should buy that. It's a fun time.

"Searching......searching.....searching....." god that voice drives me crazy. I guess its as dead as the PS3 community. Takes forever to find anything there also.

Still have a copy of Trine available? I haven't had a system that's been able to play it until recently, the requirements are surprisingly high for an indie game.

About as dead as "The Ship" or "Bloody Good Time", the indie games Ubisoft stole AC:B's multiplayer from.

Yeah, I probably should have held off on both of those.

I'm definitely not done buying, but I think I'll now hold off until games on my wishlist either become Daily Deals or until the last day of the sale.

Good to know there is a chance of it going lower. Although in saying that, it would have to be less than the £13 it goes for on disc.

Woke up this morning to find the 24 gig download of DA:O:Ultimate finished. I went onto the Bioware social site and registered my codes, hoping the DLC ingame will drop the "Unauthorized" tag soon.

Is there any content I should not have installed? I mean there's any over-powered "exclusive" items that will make early loot useless?

EDIT: What the f-ck, DA:O installed a system service just to handle content updates for a single game! And it's not doing a very good job at it either, DLC still not authorizing.

For those asking about Brotherhood multiplayer, I got into a match in about two minutes for whatever the first mode is. Pretty fun.

Kinda bummed Steam doesn't track the game time when playing multiplayer though, I'm a whore for that shit.

I thought I was out of the woods with just AP but the Frozen Synapse buy nailed me L4D and CS:Source via trade. I couldn't resist expanding my lineup and I've wanted CS:S FOREVER. I'm starting to get tight now. I need to hold strong until Thursday so I can add more Steam funds.

It's pretty sweet. Trine 2 will have co op too so that is more of a must than ever.

I finally finished downloading Bad Company 2 and it freezes on the intro movie. Now it is also saying that the disc is not in the drive - no kidding?! Anyone else had this problem?

I think the computer hacking minigame (I love minigames!) in Alpha Protocol is one of the worst things I have ever seen in video games. Can anybody explain to me how it's theoretically suppose to work?

Why do any games in 2011 have mini games? They were obviously the worst part of Mass Effect 2 that AP is obviously trying to rip off, but the mini games in here are even worse. Then the shooting isn't crisp and enjoyable like ME2, instead it's so embarrassingly bad, I'd rather have the shooting from Obsidian's other game, FO: New Vegas.

yeah I know, I guess Im doing this wrong, its not that I want the game right now. In fact my purchases are pretty much controlled and to be honest, this is my first sale on Steam. Had an account for years though...

You have to match up your string with the same unmoving string among the flashing letters and numbers. If you unfocus your eyes slightly it's really easy. As a minigame I kinda like it, you sort of have to get a bit meditative and then rush to beat the timer.
