RecceTear is amazing, the in-dungeon gameplay is so smooth.

I still haven't figured out to unlock the next set of dungeons. I found that after a while I started avoiding plundering all together since I could make so much dough by taking orders and selling marked up items that I purchased from the guildmaster. The cheapass customers that refuse to purchase expensive items piss me off, because it's a waste of my time, but it feels good to make bank a set of high level weapons.

Anyways, it's not terribly deep but I love the concept of running an RPG item shop. Each day is a turn, which makes it hard to turn it off since you'll always want to do one more day.

Just be sure to turn off voices. The high pitched squeals drove me crazy.

Might be included in a pack with its predecessor, The Longest Journey (which is on sale for $2.50)

Both are great pick ups regardless
Yeah, I bought them together for £3.75. I've not played either but a number of times gaffers I know have taste have recommended them highly so I've been meaning to play them, so I'm pleased with the purchase.

Ah god fucking damn it, I thought I was on my way to 7 headshots in Lead & Gold but then I forgot you could down someone and had to blast them again to count as a kill. I am so pissed, what a piece of shit game.

Oh no! I can't get enough kills for an achievement so this game is a piece of shit!

Wow, Bit. Trip Runner is fantastic so far. Highly recommend from my 10 minutes with it.
Hehehe, that means you've only played the first few levels of the first world.

Wait until you get to world 2...that's where it transcended for me from "fun" to "sublime"

Does PC version of bit.trip.runner support wired xbox 360 controller?

And this is the post that made me realize that there isn't a "view manual"-esque option for Steam games. I just bought it myself, and didn't see any reference to an Xbox controller anywhere in the options menu, though.

I'd really like to know if it's possible to remap the keys on the keyboard for it. I'd much rather use Z to jump instead of space, but that doesn't seem to be an option. Heck, I'd settle for Super Meat Boy-styled text file editing as long as it worked.

Finally got the one for Bit.Trip.Beat, just need to do Ahhhhh and Swords & Soldiers and I'll be done for today. $15 for the Warhammer is a bit steep tbh.

God damn you! I was perfectly satisfied with my acquisitions for today. Why sublime? Why not just a pretty good game, a great game for its price? Noooooooo, you had to go with "SUBLIIIIIMMMEEEE"............................................. Bought.

yeah tell me about it. I want the game and it would be great since i could get all the tickets, but i only have 17bucks for the whole sale :/

also im not gonna risk it, if you go for all the tickets you could get screwed by a game costing 30usd or something. Happened during the treasure hunt with RUSE.

And then you'll get to level 3-9 and it'll go from "sublime" to "ARRRGH FUCK THIS GAME NGGGGGGH"

Unfortunately, the game IS shit. I bought this ages ago in a separate sale and it's probably the only game I regret getting from Steam. Shooting mechanics are janky and random as hell - granted it's wild west guns but it still really isn't much fun after a few games, not to mention spawn camping is rampant, especially on one particular map. I thought with the achievement I'd try it to see if I'd warm up after some more play but nope!

This might have been mentioned already, but what is the consensus on the the OddBox? I know it had serious problems when released, but have these issues been addressed? $5 is really tempting.

Can someone tell me Back to the Future includes all episodes? Steam is confusing me. Ready to buy if it does. Thanks.

How long is The Witcher 2 again? How many hours at a time do you have to play it to really get into the game? 1 hour sessions ok?

I've been meaning to pick it up but I've been really busy.

Zen Bound 2 is $1, check it out!
It was in a pack last year, so I'm waiting it out. Maybe it'll be part of a combo deal before the end of the sale.

Every penny counts!

There is. I know that TF2 and The Witcher 2 have manuals you can view through the library. Not all games come with them though.

To get into the game you need to finish the prologue at the very least which is 2-4 hours. Once you've played a bit of chapter one you'll be "in the game" as the prologue is a rather linear tutorial.

7/7 tickets so far, seems like you'll be able to get all that DLC if you get every ticket every day.

A lot of it has been addressed, there still an patch coming for stranger's wrath that will update the graphics to that of the upcoming console remake.

what are the rules related to Gabe jokes? I found a hilarious parody of a popular song but rewritten for Gabe. Just wondering if I should bother posting it or if I'll get in trouble haha

If it's about his weight then you probably shouldn't post it and it's probably not funny.

Toki Tori is ridiculously frustrating. Obviously my keyboard skills aren't good enough for this game.

Umm... it might as well be turnbased. Almost none of the levels require any sort of timing, it's almost always only about doing things in the right order. You can also rewind time with backspace.

World 1 is a decent experience, but its not very difficult and things don't start to come together towards the end. World 2 though...is something else.

Hmm. I'm tempted to make the small purchases like X2/X3 pack and BIT.TRIP, but these things can rack up quite the price.

Question: I want to pick up both Russian Witcher 2 and BttF, but it'll drain my budget pretty fast. If I have to pick up one of the two, which of the two is the one I can hold of longest of purchasing? Also: Is Russian witcher actually russian in language or english? :S

30 minutes or so, there are screenshots of where the sunbeams are in the OP. Just remember that after you capture the sunbeams, you can rewind and it still counts.

I definitely needed to have some pretty good timing to get to some of the sunbeams. I may not have been doing it the "right" way, though.
