I calls em like I sees em. Now Recatteir is an actually good game that you won't regret buying.
I'm gonna have to pass on the opportunity to stare at drawings of 10 year old girls for hours on end.

Umm... it might as well be turnbased. Almost none of the levels require any sort of timing, it's almost always only about doing things in the right order. You can also rewind time with backspace.

One of the hard levels does... if you don't manage to freeze the whatever-it-is before a certain point then you can't teleport to the sunbeam. That is unless I'm playing the level completely wrong. As it's 1am I might be.

Question: Is Borderlands GOTY a Steamwork game? Does it have steam achievements?

It's not Steamworks, but the Steam version does have Steam achievements (they were added in later).

Why don't you own Retirbution yet? It is better than every game you got a ticket for today. :p

Peer pressure coming at you join the DoW army!

How does Retribution compare to the other games? Should I get it if I bought DoW2 and Chaos Rising at the last sale but haven't played them yet?

I have a MBP pro with an Integrated graphics chip. It cost £1000

How old is it? The new integrated graphics chips are able to run almost all games, at lower settings of course, and even if it's an older chipset, you'll still be able find plenty of slightly older games to play on it.

Going ahead and getting the Deluxe edition of Oblivion. Haven't played any of the expansions before and have been getting the itch to play it again.

the Steam page does not show achievements, weird. I heart that they have add them later, that is why I asked it.

Any tips for getting the ticket for AaAaAA!!! - A Reckless Disregard for Gravity?

Suicide into the ground after passing spots where there are two score plates - you'll restart at the checkpoint before and be able to nab the other one. I think you can get about 4000 extra points this way and are only penalized 250 points for each restart, so it's worth it.

Wow steam
I look at my wish list and its filled with discounts. Just picked up Chime, Aquaria, Super Laser Racer, and Bionic Commando Rearmed. all for under $20.

Well get it only if you are going to play it. :p

Campaign of DoW2, Chaos Rising, and Retribution are all different in how they are set up. DoW2 campaign is almost like a skirmish mode, travel to maps (sometimes multiple times) to hunt down enemies with space marines while getting phat lewt in the process. Chaos Rising is a more tightly knit campaign, and you can carry over your characters from DoW2. More of a regular progression with each stage you do battle on is better scripted. Both games you control up to 4 hero units in more of an action/RPG mold versus RTS.

Retribution is a stand alone expansion. It has a more tightly designed level structure from Chaos Rising, but this time you can choose up to six different factions to use. There is an overall story and each faction gives you a little bit of different insight. You also have the option to grab some regular army troops in place of your heroes or with your heroes in battle, so the combat is a little different. The story is a little light since it has to involve six factions. All games you can co op, and right now I've finished 3 of the factions in the campaign with a friend. Now working on the other 3.

Don't forget about The Last Stand game mode. This is also good for hours of fun. You can choose from one of five army generals and survive in a horde style mode, getting new loot for your characters when you level up. Getting 3 good players makes this mode a lot of fun to play. Ton of great content in the game and I didn't even touch competitive multi. Mostly since I don't play it but it has a lot of fans. I have around 200 hours between the campaign modes and Last Stand mode from the three games.

cant wait till one of those shows up as a daily deal and i get to LICK YOUR TEARS

edit: fuck it i got the killing floor characters

Dumb question, but this is the first steam sale I've participated in. If I want a game on the daily deal today should I jump on it? Or on the final day do they have all the daily deals all together? I seem to remember all the daily deals being available on the last day of the Christmas sale. Is that how it works?

Great. I bought Garry's Mod and Stranger's Wrath. So that's two games from my wishlist (Stranger's Wrath and Back to the Future), and 3 games not from my wishlist (Bit.Trip Runner, AaAaAA! and Garry's Mod).

If you want a daily deal, jump on it. The last day is normally reserved for the best sellers on all the daily deals, so the game you are looking at today may not make the final cut.

It should be easy, yet I'm having so much trouble with it. I ALWAYS fuck up when they go from 3 quick in a row up high, to the 3 down low. ALWAYS fuck it up. Fuckingeoljkh;gsrhlsdghljfsgljhz. And it takes so fucking long to retry, it seems... because 99% of it so dull... just that one thing. Fuck.
