Are you trying to gift something? This happened to me when I tried to gift something a few days ago, but it eventually worked.

It could also be that you've been making a lot of small Steam purchases and they've stopped authorizing your card...one call should fix that. That's why after you've done a sale or two you just use the Steam wallet.

Yep gift purchase but it's from paypal, oddly I just gifted a 4 pack of sanctum 10 minutes before without issue.

I would use the wallet, but it's not viable if I want to get something gifted for cheaper or get around banning/censoring (Australian)

Anybody having trouble launching Wonderful End of the World? I was able to play through the entire game during the Potato Sack sale but now after reinstalling it, it crashes after the initial load screen. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit.

Hmm, the Tomb Raider sale is tempting. I already have GOL and I got Legend(still haven't installed yet) for free when I pre-ordered it. I played through Anniversary once several years ago on GameTap, but for $2.50 I wouldn't mind playing it again. Underworld is the only question mark for me. For those who have played it, is it worth the plunge for $7.50?

$10 for one of the best RPG's released in years is a fine price. It's not like it's a small game.

Not saying it's not worth it. I paid $30 for it and it was completely worth it. Still, they shouldn't raise the price 10 minutes into the sale...those buying afterwards will feel cheated and may not buy it.

You will probably have at least a month of getting skullfucked by 1337 h4x0rz if you play CS:Source and you don't play a lot of PC FPS games.

Honestly, you'll probably quit CS Source before you become competitive at it.

I know a lot of people like it, and a lot will probably disagree, but it just doesn't hold up well as a FPS game anymore and there's a lot of better modern FPS games to play.

Yes, but you will need a co-op partner if you want to get all achievments. Also, few parts of the game are much easier when playing in co-op.

Even then...I watch my friend play this, timing his grenades just perfectly (it's the grenade use that really gets me), his astonishing knowledge of every weapon and map...he may as well be on a real strike team.

So, while you're probably right, I find it hard to imagine there are enough people who haven't played it or have that level of knowledge and want to get a community going. Am I wrong, so so wrong?
