On Tuesday, my venerable PC of four years suffered from what can only be described as a catastrophic power supply failure. As such, I have missed the last couple of days of sales. Of course, I was upset that I could not work towards my achievements/tickets (and at the loss of GAF/eBay/certain...other sites) than anything else.
So, today I got my PC back up and running, and thefirst third most impor one thing I did after setting up everything the way I liked again was to sign into Steam and check out the Daily Deals.
Oooh, CounterStrike Source is on sale. I go to its page, and it tells me that I already own the game. I didn't know this, and I don't know how I came to possess it. It wasn't part of The Orange Box, was it? Oh, it came with Half Life 2 all those years ago? Ah, I see. Pity I've never played it, might have to now.
Lara Croft GoL is on sale, already have it from the last sale. it's a franchise sale, though, and I'm tempted by Anniversary and Underworld, maybe Legend as well. I'll wait till tomorrow to buy them, though.
Dead Rising 2 and SF4 - oh lol Capcom, keep failing at sales, it's adorable in a way.
Everyone should own Audiosurf, especially at that price. Same with Company Of Heroes. sanctum isn't bad at all at its sale price either.

The only tricky part is getting red paint to show. I tried a couple songs and I saw pretty much every color paint, but red. On the bright side I did finally get the match 24 achievement after years of never even trying the mode that it requires.Zzoram said:

For the AudioSurf Ticket, use Pointman Pro. I suggest you play one of the free songs (Audiosurf Overture).
Just fill the lines with blocks, it helps if there is a number of reds in that mix. Then juggle between the sides till you find the red square (it has a shape of a hand?!). It might take a couple of runs though.

I'm surprised how many people are waiting on a Last Remnant deal. Shit's more popular than I thought. I suppose everyone liked the look of it but were turned off by mixed feedback and so are waiting for it to hit the bargin bin, at least that's my situation.

It was great for its time... hell I used to play a lot of CS (I only dabbled with CS:S a little), but I wouldn't play it now. But it's just old now. And I'm not saying that to troll, I honestly feel that some of the more modern FPS games are more fulfilling.
I try to go back and play CS:S every once and a while, but I always come back knowing exactly why I always give up...

Send a ticket to support to explain your situation. I had the same problem, but after sending a ticket they unlocked my account: I could buy from my countries store while my IP was not from my country.

hey guys maybe someone could help me here. i picked up knights of the old republic and since having bought it played it to death. now i am at a certain spot where i have to use an elevator to travel to the bridge of the leviathan and every time i try to use the elevator my game crashes. has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? i really, really like the game a lot and i would hate not to be able to finish it because of this.
edit: after about 15 attempts it finally let me progress, no idea why it wouldn't let me. thank god though, i love this game!

I just got Gothic Universe yesterday. I'll take my time to play through those games first before I pick up Risen. Maybe by then they'll change the DRM.

Okay first of all, don't get Uprising. There's no multiplayer anyway so while you get the factions, it doesn't matter. Second, somehow I only bought Kane's Wrath on Steam and there was no problem, even though it says that it doesn't run without TW. I mean, I own TW retail, but I don't have it installed or anything.brotkasten said:
