Really OT, but this is the most active thread around.

How long is Bulletstorm? I just finished the building part, started looking for the monorail. Chapter 5, I think. Am I almost done?

Sorta. Little bit more to go.

Getting the Warhammer xpac and Beard of Honor.

Any thoughts about TDU2? The quicklook that I saw on giantbomb didn't really sell me on it, but I'd appreciate any more feedback.

What about OFP: Red River? Any thoughts on that one? I really liked OFP: Dragon Rising.

I didn't really enjoy Witcher 1 that much, even though I played it through completely. Not sure if I want Witcher 2, but it's on saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaale! (!!!!!!!!)

If i'm away from my computer can I buy games by logging into my account with my phone? I'll just download once I get home. I knew this sale would take place when I was going away.

bought the following packs:
Square Enix Summer Collector Pack
THQ Hit Collection
Valve Complete Pack
PopCap Complete Pack
SFI Summer 2011 Complete Pack
Meridian 4 Complete Pack
id Super Pack
Mumbo Jumbo Complete Pack

bought the following deals:
Borderlands
Recettear
Bit Trip Runner

Didn't see Assassin Creed Brotherhood in any of the packs but will gladly accept that I am blind if one of the packs did include it. A bonus, I guess, wasn't expecting to purchase it.

Help, I have a Steam purchasing problem.

Bit.Trip Runner looks cool but there's something about watching the blocks you have to jump over scroll by.. it hurts my eyes after a while. It seemed to be a bit better with vsync off.

Wow. That's a lot of games! The Assassins Creed games are under Ubisoft: http://store.steampowered.com/publisher/Ubisoft

Longest Journey and Dreamfall are not the daily deal correct? So according to Gaf rules I should wait until the last day to pick them up in case theres an even crazier deal on them?

In theory, that's correct.

I don't think it's listed in any of those packs (it shouldn't be, it's an Ubisoft title). Are you sure you just didn't already own it? Check your account purchase history and see.

just saw the fallout collection for $10 - fallout 1 & 2, plus tactics. is tactics any good?

sorry; bumping for new page. also, i went in on dreamfall + longest journey cause i mean, they may end up a daily, but i feel great about the current price, and on the off chance i lose out on a buck or two, that's ok too.

damn...want the game, but ive got a few in my backlog now, and i can wait on a better price.
Just do what I'm doing: passing on Witcher 2 with the full expectation I'll win it before the sale is over. Don't disappoint me Gabe.

I bought Assassins Creed 1 & 2 during the UbiSoft sale. That was it.

Recettear $5
Bit Trip Runner $2.50
Total 7.50

I'm making sure to hold back as much as I can. I couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger on Oblivion or Borderlands. I'm still thinking about BTTF

Fallout games are a tad cheaper on GOG still ($3 each); I'd honestly just get F1/F2 and skip Tactics. As for Dreamfall & Longest Journey, I'd probably just decide based on whether you think you'd actually start playing either one of them right away. If not you might as well wait.

Haha, and I was sitting here wondering if anyone beat my 91 dollars on the first day. Seems like most people spent 10...maybe 15.

yeah, fair point on dreamfall i guess, but no regrets on my end. still, i know that's a winning mentality, but its killing me with bloodlines right now.
looking again at said fallout pack, i guess it's a moot point...they're $5 each, so the pack basically brings tactics for free anyway. if its not as bad as what most of you guys say of invisible war, at least it won't shit up my list. ill wait and see if it ends up a daily, though, so salsashark doesnt bite me or something.
