Also you can save yourself over 1 dollar if you buy seperatly, bundle is a jib.

Guys: Sanctum? Yes or no? looked a couple of pages back but no opinions of it.
Is it genuinly fun? How is the gunplay and gameplay?

Also how on earth do you 'download a trailer and watch it', none of the game trailers have a download option as far as I can tell.

Any of the Company of heroes games really worth it? if so, which one?

Tales of Valor is only worth it if you plan on playing multiplayer, but I think it's cheaper to get the whole pack as opposed to just CoH and Opposing Fronts.

Maybe my math is off, but it looks to me like I'd only save a couple cents by buying separately.

I only played the demo for Risen whereas I've played through Bloodlines, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bloodlines over what I've seen of Risen.

That said, wait until the 10th if you're going to buy Bloodlines in case it has a daily. Never break the rule.

  1. Go to Store.
  2. Select a game.
  3. On the right side, click either "Watch HD Video" or "Watch all X trailers" (if there's more than one).
  4. If there's more than one, pick a video. If not, ignore this step.
  5. Click download.
  6. Watch trailer.
  7. Get achievement.
  8. Delete trailer.
Don't confuse it with the trailer that streams on a game's main page.

In the middle of the 1st level. All I can say it's cool and I guess it's number one on the chart for a reason.

I've heard the sanctum demo isn't a very good representation of the full game? Or at least doesn't give you enough content to appreciate the mechanics?

It downloads all the content, not just the first game, this is so you can play with anyone online, even people who have the expansion sets, should you have vanilla CoH or just have one expansion over the other.

Sure the file size is huge as a result but at least it doesn't split the online userbase up as much.

Uh no it isn't. It adds new units to mulitplayer, several new maps and a bunch of new modes. It takes maybe 3 hours to clear the single player content in ToV.

I edited my post, it was $1.27 saving here in Australia.

I got burned by this when i bought it last year, hence why i always do the math when buying bundles from now on because sometimes the bundle is more expensive.

EDIT: Opposing Fronts is actually 3.74 instead of 4.99 here

Actually around 95% of the games I've bought during this sale (and I've got at least 2 things everyday) I've never played before!

I only bought Tales of valor but Steam gave me a key for COH and TOV. Does that mean i can play both?

Tell me more / school me / sell me on them... what do you mean by it is not like the others?

I'll probably grab C&C3:KW, C&C3:TW, C&C4:TT, C&C:RA3 and C&C:RA3U in one hit.

I still need to go play C&C Tiberian Sun and C&C Tiberian Sun, and a replay of C&C Red Alert is on the cards as well sometime.

Hm, I looked up some reviews of sanctum and they say the game has like NO content?
3 maps only and only a few weapons and enemy types?

Not sure if want, I'm on a data capped ISP, don't want to throw away my bandwidth on games I'll only play for an hour or 2.

Well the 1st map has 20 waves so for $3 and change it would be worth it for the one map. With three your getting a bargain and then there is m/p. Oh and it's purdy so you can stare at it for a while and get your $3 worth.

Good day for me; I always wanted Company of Heroes, so $7.50 for the Gold edition is pretty awesome. I have been pretty disciplined in this sale so far...$40 budget, and about $24 left.

I would like to get Counterstrike, but it took me like 6 months to finally work up the nerve to play TF2, so I don't think that's going to happen.

I highly doubt people are going to have spares, but you can check back at the end of the sale, Saturday Sunday, July 10th (the last day). It's usually a 'best of' day, and it's possible they'll have GTAIV again.

How do the best of days typically work? Presumably we can't be getting only one from each day, so do we get new ones too or more than one from certain days?

Okay, so I'm not quite finished with Portal 2 co-op yet. Would somebody else just be able to bring me into the specific level for the ticket achievement or do I need to finish co-op at least once first?

I don't want to interrupt the game my friend and I started.
