Okay, so I'm not quite finished with Portal 2 co-op yet. Would somebody else just be able to bring me into the specific level for the ticket achievement or do I need to finish co-op at least once first?

I don't want to interrupt the game my friend and I started.
It says Chamber 6, so I guess all the tests.

You don't need to have completed all tests for a co-op partner to take you to the final levels I'm pretty sure.
Thanks.

We might get to finish up tomorrow but if we can't, it'd be nice to know that I can call on some GAF help.

Well the 1st map has 20 waves so for $3 and change it would be worth it for the one map. With three your getting a bargain and then there is m/p. Oh and it's purdy so you can stare at it for a while and get your $3 worth.
And there's supposed to be a fourth map coming.

C&C3 or RA3? C&C3 seems to be the one on sale the least in general but I see a decent amount of RA3 love. Help!

I thought RA3 was pretty poor. C&C 3 feels like a proper C&C game and is quite a bit of fun. RA3 feels like someone who is completely without imagination trying to emulate the crazy creative RA2 and failing miserably at it.

I've asked in the AusGAF thread, but as someone who hasn't played much of the CnC series, what's the best one to get out of the sale items?

Edit: Answered my question before I asked it! Cheers.

I only bought Tales of valor but Steam gave me a key for COH and TOV. Does that mean i can play both?

If this is true will buy, anyone confirm or is this a one time error?

*edit*

Interested in the game regardless, but which should I get? Are all 3 pieces worth playing or is there a particular one that I should grab?

Hey guys, new to Steam here. Bought Tropico3, COH:Gold pack, and C&C:RA3 thus far. SOOOoooo Good.

Was just wondering if there are any indie type games like Call of Cthulthu (sp?) on the 360 or game dev story on the iOS? I would snap those up in a heartbeat.

Thanks in advance.

Easy Counter-Strike Source ticket

Create a private server with bots
Set server with:

Bots go to Counter-Terrorists (so they don't plant the bomb as Terrorists)
Set Bots to easy
Make them only use Knifes (so they don't shoot back)
Set map to De-Dust 2 so they always come up the ramp

You can pretty much shoot 3 of the bots with 1 bullet cause they are dumb

Took under 30 seconds

Sanctum is a fps/tower defense hybrid that's less than $4 right now. It seems to be rather entertaining.

What's left where? In the toilet? In the colon?
Nothing in the colon, worth less than nothing at all. They're effectively stealing from you if you pay them the money for that turd.

This is my first Steam sale and I've spent quite a bit already. I've been out of the country or without my PC for a long time. I'm trying to catch up on things I've missed during the sale as best I can afford. In any case, I wouldn't mind adding people to the friends list. Steam ID: frailimb

I played WoW for the past 3 years so I kinda know how you feel. Didn't really touch alot of other games in that time, so I'm probably spending more than I would usually let myself.

I have a question about Audiosurf. So I'm using bootcamp, but my itunes music is on an external HDD, will audiosurf find that music?

I'm pretty sure Portal 2 was already a daily for $35 or something like that. Most of the achievements that have been added are a day or 2 after the actual game goes on sale.

This is completely false. The achievements generally have been added the day or so before a game goes on sale, and Portal 2 has not been featured yet.

I'm confused at what the achievement for Sactum wants. Can anybody fill me in?
Pop into Glade, and you'll find a beach shore on the opposite side of where you spawn. You'll find an Umbrella, Radio, and Grill. Start the round, and shoot at them to get the achievement.
Spoiler tagged just in-case.

Hows GoL singleplayer? Or is it like Diablo/Titan Quest where all the fun is in multiplayer?
The single player is still decent on it own but the co-op really takes it to an entirely awesome new level.

GoL is awesome regardless of how you play it, and the single player and coop are different enough to warrant 2 playthroughs.

Amazing game. I'd get Anniversary as well.

COH vanilla is a must buy
Opposing fronts is a good buy as it adds 2 new factions for online.
Skip Tales of Valor, adds crappy online mode no one plays

Welp, guess i'll pick it up then.
If you ever need a steam friend to play with you I am sure plenty of people (myself included) already own it/have just picked it up as well.

Semblance

shhh Graham I'm still compiling this Radiant map
What is Company of Heroes similar too? I think the various Dawn of Wars are good to great, I'm wondering if I should jump in to these too.

Would only be playing for the campaigns though, not sure if it's worth it.
