Serious Sam is a wicked gahbidge series for chowdaheads.
If anyone needs some help with the Audiosurf ticket, I've found that the John Legend song "Green Light" works surprisingly well. Just fill up your rows and wait off on the sides for a red paint power-up.

each day has 12 dailies (even more when they're franchises)

two days left (asuming the third one's a recap)

24 opportunities left

Metro goes on sale often
Ha for some reason I thought there was only one day left of new sales, glad there's two days left for portal 2, bulletstorm, and vampire the masquerade

What the hell, why couldn't this be a franchise sale?

Shogun 2 was already on sale (so really Medieval 2 is the only one that isn't really low, since Rome is already $5 or less)

Silly question, but who is the leftmost character on the Steam store page? I only recognize Lara Croft and Chun Li.

Also, I have spent $5 so far on this entire sale. :D I might have missed a day or two of sales but I imagine there wasn't anything I would have wanted.

It's Asha Catari (Rift).

I don't know... Mass Effect 2 for 5$ would be nice. Though I haven't even got to 1 yet. Something about 5$ titles to me and taking out my wallet.

How is World of Goo? Never played it.

Could it be a daily deal?
That has been in both the humble Indie bundle and was the first "Pay what you want". Aka, Contanza gives them a penny.

This may be terribly old news, but I just noticed that the Paradox Fantasy Pack is on for $8. It's not listed on the major packs list, and it deserves some attention.

http://store.steampowered.com/sub/8675/

It includes Majesty 2 and all of its expansions. Giant Bomb did a Quick Look of vanilla Majesty 2 here. Note: this is one of the best Quick Looks of all time. Jeff and Dave FTW!

Majesty 2 is awesome and worth the $8 alone.

On top of this, the original Majesty and all four of the Elven Legacy games are included. While I haven't tried them out yet, they're supposed to be pretty good strategy games. Nothing amazing, but certainly worth the miniscule amount of scratch that this pack is asking for.

You may have just sold me on this series. I'll wait around for the last day just to see if it goes daily, but I doubt it. That QL was excellent.

Will I enjoy Audiosurf as a DDR/IIDX player? I've watched videos of Audiosurf before I'm intrigued, but the gameplay seems a little weak. Is there good gameplay behind it or is it mostly just the cool factor of generating courses from songs in you library?

Part of me thinks I'd just go to Stepmania when I need my rhythm game quick fix.

So like an idiot I bought C&C4 thinking it must be the best since it's the newest. Yeah, so I was wrong. I want to correct this though. Should I pick up C&C 3 or RA3? Which one's the better game?

It's honestly a solid game. Stepmania is fun and all, but these are still two completely different games, music being the only similar factor between them. It's worth the price, and it'll give you your rhythm game quick fix when Stepmania can't.

So true. Lots of GAFers confirmed already, that it is the worst game in the series and you still bought it.

I say, CnC3/RA3 sharing 2nd place in The Worsest CnC Games. You'd better save your money for some worthwhile, chap. World in Conflict, for instance.

I don't know, but I just played Audiosurf for the first time, and ended up playing for about 2 hrs straight.

Technically, if you wanted a great C&C game, you can just download the earlier ones for free. They aren't on commandandconquer.com anymore apparently, but do a Google search for "Command and Conquer Classic" and you'll find them.

I've played all the early ones, I was just hoping for a fun, HD C&C.

It's a solid little music game, I often find myself going back to it once in a while, and I'm not a big fan of rhythm games. A few different ways of playing that appeal to a broad audience (unless you hate the gameplay straight up) and comes withe bonus of getting to do awesome songs by your favourite artists. Doing a jazz number on there is relaxing as fuck, then jumping into a dubstep drop as the hills and notes in game vibe to the beats..it's great.

I'm glad that I convinced someone to get it. Majesty 2 really does deserve more love than it gets. It's a really unique take on the RTS genre.

Pointman lets you scoop up blocks and deposit in the appropriate lane. YOu can just wait for red paint in a side lane after you've filled the 21 blocks up.

Well, seems Capcom is enjoying their money, as Dead Rising 2 is number 15 on top sellers list and Street Fighter 4 (normal) is number 24. So guess people are actually buying these at these prices.

Glad to see Sanctum doing well. It's pretty fun game.

Pointman would be easiest. The trick is to never let 3 blocks of the same colour touch each other, vertically or horizontally. You can use books you pick as pointman to cut off pairs of blocks and slowly build up to 21 single or pairs of different colours, then wait for a red paint. A long, slow song is best.

I only own TF2, Portal 2, and Defense Grid of the DLC to redeem and I redeemed them all.

I have very little motivation to get more tickets at this point, I don't think it will make me win my wishlist and I don't want to redeem DLC for games I don't own.

Steam got a lot of new users from PS3 and TF2 going free, plus they always have a general increase of users. I'm not surprised these popular games are being bought by newer Steam accounts.

I'm more wondering that after all opinions about high prices they're still selling this well. And seeing that revised version of SF4 just came out, I think it's a bit wonder that the original version is still selling this well with pretty high price.

What usually causes Games for Windows Live problems anyway? I dont think i've ever had any problems with Bioshock 2, Batman, or Fallout 3...but then again my email is Microsoft based, so maybe that has an effect?

Don't bother with an Audiosurf account, you don't need it to get Steam achievements.
