Pretty much exactly what you needed to do. Sometimes Steam is a little slow at detecting updates, Verifying the cache forces it to check.

Reinstall if that fails. You may have an older version and the game refuses to update.

I take it, in Risen, there's no way to highlight all objects in the immediate area a la every RPG ever? The very first thing I did was press/hold alt, but of course that didn't do anything. And the controls menu doesn't mention any such feature.

Edit: A quick Google reveals the answer to be "no", but interestingly the Telekinesis spell apparently acts as a serviceable substitute.

Anyways, does anyone know of a GTA4 mod that makes it so the player's car takes NO damage?

Or maybe a mod where I can bring up a menu and change my car's plates/color right there instead of having to go to a garage? That shit is not fun.

Wow, Sanctum is pretty damn fun. It's too bad you can only build things from the first person perspective, though. Takes a bit longer than it really should to reconfigure your maze.

I also bought this during the daily sale. The max resolution in the settings still leaves the screen pretty small on my 17" 1080p screen. Is there any way to fix that or is it just something that comes with the fact that it's an old game?

I wouldn't mind Mafia II and Mass Effect 2, purely because I already own the original instalment of both franchises. It's a sort of OCD issue which results in a desire to own every other game in a series if I already own just one of them.

I wouldn't mind Mafia II and Mass Effect 2, purely because I already own the original instalment of both franchises.

I always think about getting Mass Effect 1 and 2 to have them on Steam and play them again before 3 comes out.

Then i think about all the other games i have to play, and that now i already know about the consequences of the actions i took, and realize that i prefer to stay with my original Shepard (like a MAN), and play ME3 without being burned out on the series and saying "fuck it" to the couple of characters i lost.

i MIGHT pick up Mafia II.. if its $5 or less. Already played through it on a used retail version but i hear the DLC is pretty good. It also has nice Physx and im updating to a better Nvidia card, so..

I already have Lara Croft GoL and TR:Anniversary on the 360. I bought them again on the PC just to have a prettier version. What the hell is wrong with me?

I did the same. Playing them on the PC with not just better graphics but more importantly at 60 FPS makes the games much better.

1.25 USD

(It doesn't seem like much and some like Stallion Free would probably tell you it's not worth having to deal with PayPal, but if you do a lot of four packs, it does save money, and I've had no PP problems, with any country.)
