Yeah seriously, I can't believe it's still $40 on Steam regularly. Discount it to $10 and I'll probably bite.

The first time Last Remnant was on sale it was $10 btw, which was probably less than what it was worth. Let's see if Square Enix will match that again. They should, it's been a while since that sale, game is totally worth that now.

The Last Remnant needs to drop to atleast 10 for it to get interesting.

Mirror's Edge is also only 10€ on euro store. Still hoping for a daily on these.

It feels like an up-port of a PS2/Xbox title, and while there's a lot of arduous backtracking and some poor ideas like putting a minimap within a menu, the dialogue/conversation is great with some very nice fighting. Bear in mind, it's not at all a hack n' slash so folks looking for Grecian beat-downs should look elsewhere.

I think it's a pretty cool title, despite the design errors. The character Pan is worth the price of admission alone.

Hoping for Worms Reloaded today. Apparently it was meant to be on sale yesterday, so hopefully it hasn't been pulled from the sale entirely.

yeah, make a server, map de_dust2, set the bots to easy and knife only. few minutes later you got your ticket and probably a few other achievements... I've got 18 with this XD

Whats the difference between CS:S and the beta version? I ask this because I thought only the beta version had achievements? I am confused.

Skip the whole few minutes later part by setting starting money to 16000 so you can buy an awp right away.

First time I set the server up with bots and 16000, the bots went to the bomb sites instead of running to me, I was like wtf. Then I just disconnected and remade and they acted normally. Shift bastards.

JUST GOT PAID ... I am really hoping JC2 and Bioshocks go back on sale for the wrap-up day .. and I am hoping even more that Capcom is disqualified from posting any "deals" today.

I guess back in the day yes, but now my non-beta CS:S has achievements. Also, that game is fun still, if only I had the same skills as me from 5 years ago.

Hmm... This isn't working for me, it takes me to a 404 page whenever I enter a code. Guessin' it doesn't work for the US. :\

EDIT: Well I'm stupid. Just realized I had to have the game IN my cart first...

Faerie Solitaire, The Item shop, and Serious Sam HD are a great place to start in killing that backlog. I've been playing more Serious Sam and that game is just amazingly stupid good fun.

When I initially saw the block of games on sale yesterday, I thought I was going to buy a bunch of them.

I only ended up buying Company of Heroes.

Audio Surf would have been a no-brainer if I didn't use iTunes on my Mac partition.

I picked it up last year for $19.99 during the holiday sale. I doubt it will go lower if it's a daily deal since very few games in this sale have been cheaper than they were in the Holiday sale.
