hamchan said:The first time Last Remnant was on sale it was $10 btw, which was probably less than what it was worth. Let's see if Square Enix will match that again. They should, it's been a while since that sale, game is totally worth that now.

Mirror's Edge was a daIly on the Christmas sale.LiK said:Steam refuses to put Mirror's Edge and TLR on sale.

Princess Skittles said:So this is the first time Vampire has been on sale on Steam, eh? And only 33%.
Also, the general consensus is that tomorrow we can start buying our wish list games that weren't featured on dailies?
Princess Skittles said:So this is the first time Vampire has been on sale on Steam, eh? And only 33%.
No, it's not. Some of us got it for $10 like three or four years ago.Fourman said:Yes it is the first time.
ShaneB said:Will ask this now before the last day rolls around and gets fill with "should I buy this?" posts. I have Eschalon book 1 and 2 on my wishlist, but with my steam wallet nearing it's bottom I allocated for the sales, is it necessary to get both? Know that even the trailer for Book 2 says no knowledge of Book 1 is necessary, so if I should just get that and save a few dollars, that would be nice.
Have there been any EA games up for sale? I haven't been paying attention...Discotheque said:I hope Bulletstorm gets a daily deal and one of those summer camp achievements, just so more people can play it. Criminally underrated since it's easily one of the best fps campaigns I've played in so long. The ads did it no justice.
Oh and the lack of Mirror's Edge sales recently is weird, I remember copping it for 5 bucks a long time ago, such a good deal considering the amount of hours I've put into that beauty.
Pretty much every day.3rdman said:Have there been any EA games up for sale? I haven't been paying attention...
Right, so once the dailies are announced tomorrow I should be okay to buy a few things seeing as there won't be new dailies on Sunday.Fourman said:Usually on the last day they have the best of the daily deals for a day, which will be Sunday.
Lucky boys. Yeah, the Steam Sales site's data only goes back to February 2010. Thanks.benjipwns said:No, it's not. Some of us got it for $10 like three or four years ago.

Sportbilly said:It's entirely up to you. I'm enjoying Book 1 at the moment, but Book 2 is regarded as the better game, so it's not really essential and you're correct in that it doesn't require you to have played the first game. Maybe wait until the last day and see if there's anything the same price as Book 1 you'd rather have?
benjipwns said:No, it's not. Some of us got it for $10 like three or four years ago.
Didn't mean to seem insulting or bragging if I did. Just that people always post "NEVER BEEN ON SALE" when those of us there that Halloween got it.Princess Skittles said:Lucky boys. Yeah, the Steam Sales site's data only goes back to February 2010. Thanks.
Wouldn't Bloodlines have been on sale more over the years then?Stumpokapow said:well it's pretty obvious that one of the main points of the wishlist is to get demographic data for valve to see which products merit working actively to get publishers to put on sale.

If it's anything like the retail, after you enter your info, the account will show you have 30 days before being charged. You can cancel and still have the 30 days left.xXJonoXx said:Hey guys, me and friend just bought RIFT on Steam for $9.99. It says the 30 days of free game time are only good with new accounts. Me and him have been playing all day on the free trial version to see if we liked it. Now that we both bought it, can we just take our Steam CD keys and add them to our trial accounts on the Trion website? Will we still get the 30 free days? When I enter the Steam CD Key on the Trion website, it asks for my credit card info. How can I tell that I am getting the 30 days free or am I going to be charged immediately?
Anyone else do this during this sale?

I don't know, I've only been a Steam user for a few years, but I used the wishlist for the first time like a week ago.coopolon said:Well, just because Valve knows people want the game doesn't mean Valve can convicne the publisher (activision) to put it on sale. And the wishlist is relatively new isn't it? I thought it was implemented last year?
I have no idea. It's one of the highest rated PC exclusives on Steam though I think. I imagine the kind of people who have wishlists know about it.Weenerz said:Outside of GAF, how many people really want that game? Be honest.

Sanjay said:I would say yes, it works in real world realms mostly. The knowledge is there already from watching thousands of world war films and games. A good example is tying to shoot a tank with bullets and throwing grenades at tanks will do zero damage. You can't game the game. At It's core the game is about out smarting the enemy then overpowering them with mass units or how fast you can click per minute like a robot.
It's single player campaigns are good too even if you don't venture on-line. The expansions add different on-line modes like last stand horde mode, tanks Vs tanks battles to add more variations for on-line gameplay. By far the best strategy warfare game made in the last decade, so bloody buy it!
And if you don't have much experience with strategy games, you may not want to venture online right away because it will likely demoralize you forever.Sanjay said:It's single player campaigns are good too even if you don't venture on-line.

I have nothing before December 29, 2007. But I checked my card records and I bought NEITHER game (Vampire and The Orange Box) on that date but in the months before. So they must have implemented it before but not added account info until then or something.Carm said:There transactions weren't implemented at the time maybe in the client?

Nothing before The Orange Box (Geometry Wars, Red Orchestra for two examples) is listed for me, it's complimentary.
And oh how I once thought I was getting the worlds most amazing deal by getting BioShock for $14.99.
