Hmm..the first Mafia is only $2.49. Really cheap, but will I ever play? Or maybe the better question is should I bother playing it? It got great reviews, but that was almost a decade ago.
Get it, it's fantastic. It still is.

I give up on the Youtube ticket. I have 20+ videos on my account, and I've previously linked a video to my profile a month ago, but steam just isn't seeing the videos.

It's still doing the same thing as it did a few days ago where the ticket was pulled.

no way in hell DS2 is gonna hit 10 bucks

it was on sale at $25 on the EA week less than a couple months ago

Id say $20 tops, if its even there at all

Its $29.99 now non sale price. So a conservative estimate would be 50% off...or $15.

Well, I've spent 120$. I believe that is about half of spent for about the entire 2 years prior on Steam.

Up to $85 for games I bought for me. This is an important distinction when discussing the total bill with my wife.

Is there any hope for Morrowind to be a daily deal?

After today's deal, it's the only game I want. And 15$ is way too much (considering Oblivion is selling at the same price!)
:(

Have you tried adding a new video?

or are you saying the whole steam community thing is messed up like the other day? I added my video after they removed the ticket the first time, it started working for a bit then.

I'm not even home and I got it. If you already have ten or more, it should be automatic.

That's what I figured, though I've had 13 on my list and nada. Might just try removing everything and adding it all back again.

Edit: Totally worked.

No Pandora Tomorrow in the complete pack? Wut?

I believe there's a problem where most newer video cards make the game have a pretty bad lighting problem, so steam doesn't put it on sale anymore. They may have even taken it off the store but I don't know that.

It was $12 on the EA store a few weeks ago.

For those people who are asking if their computer / laptop can run XXX game, head on over to
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/.

Not sure how reliable it is though. I selected Dungeon Siege III, clicked on the button, and even though my GPU (ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470) exceeded the requirements it still came out as failed.

It's an okay tool and a good place to start for people who don't understand hardware, but it's certainly not infallible.

Plus with developers/publishers getting more and mroe unreliable with with system requirements corresponding to decent performance it becomes even less valuable, but I still recommend it to people.

Thought Emoji Movie was good. Take that as you will.
Amnesia requires dark room + head phones to get full experience. It really puts in you in the game.

Scary, yeah, that's the point.

Today my wallet rejoices.

Already have ME 1&2, Divinity 2, and FO3.
Suck at RTS so no go on Total War, and too much of a chicken for Amnesia.
No interest in Mafia/Splinter Cell and I'll wait for Dirt3/Armageddon to drop lower than 33% off.

Any word on why no TLR on the EU store?

Of course it was, Bulletstorm was also cheap as well, but it never was on sale on Steam.

That's just EA trying to lure in people into Origin, of course they're gonna put their games cheaper on their own store, doesnt mean anything for Steam.

pardon my ignorance, but how do you publish a video on steam?
1. Have a youtube and a Steam account.
2. Link youtube acount with steam account. Community > View video's > link accounts
3. Upload a video on youtube (I just shot and uploaded a 1 second TF2 vid)
4. goto Community > View video's > Add video
5. ???
6. profit

Have you tried it with other games? The site is very careful not to pass you if you are using something that isn't officially supported...for example, you may get a "fail" on some older games if you're using Windows 7. That doesn't mean it won't run, just that it isn't officially supported. It's important to scroll through the detailed results and find out why you failed, then you can decide if it's really going to be a problem or not.

Sorry, you're right, I misread your post. I thought you were saying it was $25 on the EA Store, when you actually said it was $25 on the EA week.

Dragon's Age Origin Ultimate was the cheapest on Steam so far. It was 12$ on Amazon and EA store if I recall.

I already have pre-existing videos on my youtube account, and it says I have no videos. I've relinked my youtube account and it still doesn't work.

In fact, I've even linked a few youtube videos to my steam account a month ago without problems, but now it's not recognized.

But yea, it's still messed up like it was a few days ago.

Just saw in the small print "HIGH SPEED INTERNET ACCESS AND CREATION OF A UBISOFT ACCOUNT ARE REQUIRED TO ACCESS THIS VIDEO GAME "

Even if the DRM is now gone, NO SALE! Really cannot be fucking arsed making yet another online account, especially Ubisoft, to play my own game.

Honestly its not that big a deal if you want to play the game. Just use whatever username/password you usually do, click save, and you never have to mess with it again.

I can understand not wanting to have to be online to play the game, but if the DRM is gone, its not that hard to make a quick account.

EDIT: Last Remnant looks cool and has a great soundtrack, but the demo turned me off as well. Is it just another case of "bad demo" where it just throws you into the middle of the game with not much of an explanation?

Did anybody want to do a 4-pack for Worms Reloaded? It's 4.25 instead of 4.99 that way, but every penny counts! ;O

I have PMs from a couple people, but we need a host, as my CC isn't letting me purchase right now.

Anyone get this yet? Are we having to just add 10 new games to our list?
I had it when I just now logged into Steam, didn't add anything.

heh, even so, im surprised they're still putting stuff on sale on Steam at all.

Once the Origin rumors started to appear i thought the EA week on Steam was gonna be one of the last times we would see some of the games on Sale, so i got plenty of games there.

Hope DS2 is on sale though so all of you can get it, its awesome.

Could someone explain how this worms is different from Worms Armageddon (the best worms game)?

I used to love worms but the xbox versions really put me off since they barely included any weapons and landscapes.

Good Games:
Amnesia
Mafia 2
The Last Remnant
Divinity 2 DKS
Dirt 3
Splinter Cell 1 & chaos theory
Mass Effect 1
Empire/Napolean

Meh Games:
Splinter Cell Conviction and double agent
Fallout 3
Worms reloaded
RF:Armageddon
Mass Effect 2

Quoting myself... but, see here's what I mean:

I clearly have videos on my YT account, but steam says I have none. And all my videos allow embedding and are public.

It's like a big button granny phone version.

For an RPG noob, is The Last Remnant an accessible game?

Not particularly. The early tutorial is fairly well laid out but it does get pretty challenging quickly, and there's just a ton of content/character development options available. Wouldn't reccommend it if you haven't played at least a few RPG's to completion before.
