It can be, but sometimes when there is stuff roaming around darkness is the better of two evils.

That's also why a lot of people think the game is worse. (I don't mean me personally, but rather the complaints the fans of the series have made)Lanbeast said:You'll probably like it twice as much. I used to love worms but the xbox versions really put me off since they barely included any weapons and landscapes.

Frustrating. That game lives on Mouse control.Coldsnap said:wonder what amnesia would be like on a controller...
In some cases, immersion>accuracy. There may not be a "reason" to walk in ME, but it is more immersive while role playing to occasionally walk. ME is certainly not a game where the accuracy given by a controller is a hindrance. The graphical argument is obvious, but the lack of a natural walking transition with the kb makes third person game less immersive on pc (for me)...unless controller support is offered.Gvaz said:1. there is no reason to walk, ever
2. the "running" is more of a jog and the sprinting should be tied to shift and be able to do it al the time.
I've never played Uncharted 2 but they actually are, in almost every case.
Batman AA, The Witcher 2, Just Cause 2, Red Faction: G, Mass Effect. These work with a controller adequately, but:
You're able to move more accurately and smoother, whereas the controller slows you down and reduces your accuracy.
I can think of only two examples on the PC where a controller is better: Driving games and AssBro. The latter because ubisoft gave it a fucking AWFUL control scheme for KB/M and fuck if I'm spending ten minutes reassigning keys on a console port.
Though maybe I'm biased because while I still play console games in every situation I prefer them to be on the PC instead because I can use a KB/m and have better graphics.
It feels like Oblivion with kbm, so I'm guessing like Oblivion on a controller.Coldsnap said:wonder what amnesia would be like on a controller...

Yes. ME2's performance on PC is excellent. Activating AA via CCC or Geforce driver may cause a noticable fps hit though.zazrx said:Now that the ME questions are done and the PC version is the one to get. What about ME2? PC version better?
The story almost doesn't matter (though they do continue the plot of the previous game, Double Agent mostly). If you haven't played the older SC's you will probably enjoy it more. It's not like the older SCs where they were super stealthy, Conviction feels more like Jason Bourne/Jack Bauer-y.lifa-cobex said:I'm thinking of getting Conviction but iv never played any Splinter cell's.
