Free games are good and Men of War and Arma 2 are great, but it's not really worth dealing with Green Man Gaming, especially now because with those free codes, the site is being killed. It could take you hours of trying to get it.

Steams client is fucked. Risen is in the top 20 for $10.19 and in the 10-20 page for $14.99. Also was it $7.50 yesterday? I don't remember seeing that price, would of bought it.

That's the full version, not the free to play MP version they're going to do.

Also I would have paid about $5 tops for arma 2 or 2.50 for men at war tops so free is even better.

Arma 2 kept going on $20 "deals" and my reaction every time was pretty much "lol no"

Yeah, it was -75% originally when I went to bed yesterday. Today it was only -66%. Probably would have gotten it for -75%.

I bought Company of Heroes and Risen yesterday, and neither of them work. Steam just shows the preparing to launch window for a second or two then then it doesn't even show me as playing a game. Is this just because of the servers during the sale or something?

That is correct and it's glorious. You will have to miss out on the achievements, but you've many more stats in-game to keep you happy.

Well I hope Risen for $7.50 gets put back in for the last day recap. Actually I don't even remember it for $10.19. Would of pulled the trigger on that as well.

Every time this happens, I have to cancel, exit Steam, then relaunch and the games work fine. YMMV.

It was $7.50 for about 5-10 minutes. Obviously that was some sort of mistake.

I'm tempted. I don't care for the story right now in FFXIII and the battle system is pretty good. At times it can get repetitive, though. I remember not caring for FFXII for a good chunk but eventually fell in love with its battle system. To the point where I did side quests (hunts), and I never do side quests in RPGs. Trying to change that since I'm now playing Dragon Age and bought the Ultimate Edition.

Thanks for the info on TLR, if the combat is really that good, I might have to bite. But finding the time to play it (Dragon Age, Fallout 3, FFXIII and ME 2 still calling) is the big problem. But at least I'm making an attempt to play them now instead of just reading about them, haha, better get back to Dragon Age...

If you are planning for tomorrow then I would just get last remnant as it doesn't go on sale often and worms kind of does.

Plus if you want Blur then you have to expect the sale won't be as good since it's Activision, so plan to save as much as possible. ME would probably be $5, that's what I normally see it at when it goes on sale.

edit: Then again Blur is only 13 right now so a sale would probably put it in the $7.50 range, and if ME is $5 that takes care of your 13. I don't know it's up to you. I would still hold off on Worms until later to be safe.

The cheap indie stuff goes on sale often enough, what you want may come back up sooner than later.

You think Valve is purposely letting us see a few of the deals before each day? It doesn't seem like putting those images there serves a practical purpose, otherwise all of them would be there and not just a few each day.
