I seriously doubt it, $7 for ME2 is as low as it gets.

ouch. I hate to have to do this.. As was mentioned earlier in this thread, GreenManGaming and the British tabloid "The Sun" have a promo deal going where they are giving out free copies of Arma II, Men of War, and Tower Bloxx Deluxe.LiquidMetal14 said:This has definitely been my heaviest day so far. Terraria, SC Conviction, The Last Remnant, and ARMA II.
In-keeping with our scouring the gaming universe for the best free titles on the market, we've also secured exclusive codes to download THREE more titles.

PsychoRaven said:Wow they finally fixed it. It saw my videos finally. So that's another. Think I'll pick up the freebie game with some tickets since I'm starting to build up a nice little batch since my last freebie redemption. lol
Haha you say that now.shagg_187 said:Seriously. I went overboard. Never again, Steam!
But hey, atleast I bought a couple dozen indie titles that I always wanted to support/plus (plus some shit impulse buys that cost a buck).

Sorry for being a bother, but i planned for this to be a gift for my brother that went out and the both of us frustrated lol.

Their servers are really getting hammered though, I have only been able to redeem Arma II so far, and I have been trying for a couple of hours.
Not particularly. The Int3rsect said:Is the story any good?
I think great gameplay is more than enough to own a game...DoctorWho said:Mediocre store kills it for me then.
I need a good story to stick to a game like that.

Sgt.Pepper said:So GAF, here's my situation. I only got $10 left in my budget, should I pass on Last Remmant, and hope for the best tomorrow or should I give in? I'm expecting a Terraria and/or Morrowind deal, even if the last one is less likely though.

However, I seem to meet the minimum attributes.

Anyone have any insight? Am I just screwed here? I barely ever PC game, so I don't really know much about this.[/QUOTE]
You have integrated graphics, which means that unless you have a very new processor - Sandy Bridge - you can't play most games. Mass Effect is a game that I believe you won't be able to run. Perhaps try bringing all the graphics settings to low.
Arma 2 is free on Green Man Gaming!Sinatar said:ARMA II is going free to play any day now so that's no biggy. Men of War is cool though.
Nothing is set in stone, obviously, but the consensus is that tomorrow will be another set of Daily Deals and Sunday will be the Best Of.The End said:Are we going to get a full Daily Sale tomorrow, or is just the best-of? I'm holding my breath on UT3, which isn't bad for $10, but I'd be all over it for $5.

Well if there is "promod" or anything with "mod" in the name... it's a modded server. There is also an option to show only vanilla servers, iirc.SilverLunar said:This did not adress the problem i am having.
What i want to know is how i can tell if a server will force me to downlad a mod or not, and why it kicked me out each time i finish dowloading it right before the game starts.
I just want to play, i cant get in a game at all.

fatty said:I thought the same...and then I tried to remember a RPG story that I actually liked, and it goes back to FFIV (and I was in my teens). Though FFVI and FFIX were decent enough to keep me interested.
I guess there aren't really any videogame stories that I find really memorable, even though I'd expect it from a RPG. They are just so melodramatic, over the top and/or convoluted.
So I'm tempted to pick up The Last Remant because of the battle system, but I just don't know. Backlog is bad enough as it is and I'm still trying to finish FFXIII.

Way better English dub tooerragal said:For all its' flaws the story in TLR isn't any worse than FFXIII's from a narrative standpoint. Some of the sidequests are as interesting as the good parts of 13 (basically the Sazh + Vanille parts of the game) and TLR's combat and character development is superior in every way.
When I can't get them either!imoTEP12 said:Whats there not to love about free?

Lifeless, sterile space simulation. Sounds like my kind of game.Orellio said:The name sorta says it all. You can manipulate planet sizes and their orbit trajectory and other stuff like that. I haven't done too much with it yet but there are black holes you can spawn and stuff too.
There's no audio or music so the game feels kinda lifeless. Very sterile :\
Also can I buy stuff from other regions using a proxy/vpn?Mista Koo said:What's Splinter Cell DRM like? Online all time? Online at start-up?
For an RPG noob, is The Last Remnant an accessible game?
