Hmmm. I want Titan Quests, Darksiders, and the Warhammer games...and Metro, fuck. Fuck you Steam

Add them up individually see if it's cheaper, if it is, plan on doing that but first wait for dailies... etc etc.

Kinda lost hope on Mirror's Edge and Psychonauts by now :/ neither are currently discounted at all.

I think EA are being dicks and discounting their games for only one day. I wouldn't be surprised if ME shows up at $5 as a daily deal like every other sale for the last 2 years.

Eversion is 50% off, that's an awesome little game.
This is a really good game. I think it doesn't get a lot of attention because it was originally just a free flash game, so it's hard to sell something you could get for free. I'm surprised it hasn't been a daily deal yet.

Thoughts on Republic Commando? I recall hearing some good impressions at the time it was released but what's the consensus these days - worth experiencing even now?

I remember getting Mirror's Edge during an EA weekly sale for like $6. But that was quite a bit ago.

Without starting an Origin vs Steam flamewar, from what I've seen so far EA is not supporting Valve in this summer sale. What a shame, since the last few big sales, publishers haven't hesitated bragging about their sales numbers, so it's clearly successful for all parties involved.

Never purchased from Steam before, trying to create an account but always get the "Your account creation request failed, please try again later". Uhh

Just wanted to say that the Brutal Concussion reward for AaAaAA!!! is quite fun. If you liked the game and don't feel like dropping your tickets on anything else just yet, they are some neat expert levels.

The last one is a mind**** though. Dejobaan is as crazy as ever. My eyes hurt.

we dont know, but i personally doubt it

Hmmmm...Thanks, I guess we'll see. I wonder if Alien Breed 2 is worth "free" or if I just should just get the map packs for a game I haven't played yet. STEEEAAAAAMMM!!

There was a Star Wars pack added to the registry that contained literally every Star Wars game on Steam (including Force Unleashed 2) might wanna wait for that

Does the PC version of Worms include the content that was in Worms 2: Armageddon for 360/PS3

I've noticed there isn't a Worms 2 available, and reloaded was released just last year, so what kind of content is included?

don't think I've seen Psychonauts sale since January 2010 when it was for 2€/$2. But everything is possible, keep your hopes up!
@Salsa Terraria wasn't discounted 6 or so hours ago, but is now discounted. So there might be a psychonauts discount coming later.

Damn, FINALLY beat the Bit.Trip Beat challenge. Christ, I didn't realize you could do it on easy!
What part did you find difficult? And what control method were you using? I didn't realize some people found the initial sequence so challenging.

Ooo, Amnesia Dark Descent is 50% off. Worth it? I'll wait for a daily deal, of course, but I didn't see that mentioned.

Right on the edge of buying Oblivion, but that's $8.50 which could go towards Skyrim! I may end up buying it anyway even though I have a 360 copy for mods + Shivering Isles skybox which I saw posted in that skybox thread.

Mods make it that much better right?

Medal of Honor still has the Battelfield 3 Beta key?

If it does, me and a friend are buying it. People bought it earlier on the thread, what's the veredict?

I've had some games update today for seemingly no reason . . . I suspect they will be in sales:

Flight Control HD
Defense Grid
Iron Grip: Warlord

Anyone else notice as suspicious updates?

Flight Control HD has two summer related achievements that were added: http://steamcommunity.com/stats/FlightControlHD/achievements/

So that'll be part of the ticket gathering, as well as a deeper discount most likely. Neither Defense Grid or Iron Grip has new achievements and Iron Grip doesn't even have Steam Achievements from the looks of it. So those were probably normal patches.

Cool - thanks for the heads up.

At the moment my cart looks like this:

- Frozen Synapse
- Capsized
- Recettear
- Bit.Trip Beat
- Bit.Trip Runner
- Inside a Star Filled Sky
- DEFCON

$42!!

Oh and last night I managed to grab SSF4 AE when it was part of the deal for $26. :p

Is Borderlands fun in single-player?

Um, depends. I found it boring and empty when playing by myself...I just went from npc to objective to npc x100. Then again, I only played about 3-4 hours into it so it might have gotten better.

Does anyone know if the prizes change each day? I have 3 tickets but I own none of the games, except TF2 but a pair of sunglasses seems like a waste of tickets.

You could get better deals by waiting for more Dailies.

Witcher 2 is more expensive on sale then it was to pre order on steam, and is currently cheaper not on sale at other non steam stores.

Australians get treated like idiots in these sales.

What's the consensus on Back to the Future? Worth it for $12?

Well seeing as how I bought it twice for 20 and 25 once on PS3 and once on PC I might be a little biased but I think 12 is a steal.

I dont usually save my card info in steam, but Im going to now until the sale ends, already sick as shit of retyping my card info in over and over. Should use the shopping cart more I suppose.

It saddens me every time I'm reminded that KotOR II isn't on Steam, or ANY DD service for that matter. Would really like to finish that game after an Xbox rental many years ago, but at this point I'm not buying a retail copy (it never goes on sale anyway.)

Sins of a Solar Empire not being on Steam is another one that bugs me...
Well, Stardock made Impulse and Sins, so yeah. Impulse isn't bad. I have a few of the exclusive games on there and then I add them to my Steam library. No big deal.
