It's a beautiful game looks wise and plays pretty well too. The story is gobbldy gook but who cares. It's not the biggest game but still lengthy enough for the price. I would recommend Risen personally though(I'd recommend Risen over tons of RPGs though)

I think I stayed under 100 euros but I can't be sure. Didn't buy anything I regret though, except for Cities XL 2011, kinda, sorta, maybe, we'll see.

37 tickets, as if it'll help.

Okay Bloodlines, you win.
:p
I know that it has been discussed before but I have hardly any idea about this game. Could someone in one or two sentences explain the game (and gameplay) to my because somehow GAF has drawn my attention to it.

Never, EVER watch Steam sales a week after getting a new rig.
Horrible, disfiguring damage for me: more or less 180 €.
/facepalm

Oh yay a new rig. Oh look i can run current gen games again. Oh goodie Steam is having a sale. Oh carp my wallet has just imploded.

Retribution is $14.99 in the cart. Was going to give it a shot, not so much now.

Deus Ex with vampires.

Deus Ex with vampires is about as succinctly as it gets. Combat's jank, but the writing, characters and atmosphere make up for it a thousandfold.

I got an extra copy of DoW by mistake with the money I was planning to use for the Paradox Fantasy pack, so if anybody from Euro-GAF wants to make an exchange (or someone from the US who doesn't care that it's slightly more expensive), I'm all for it.

Gifts to an e-mail can be given out to anybody, right?

Thank god for it being the last day...now if I can only hold out from buying AssBro for another 24 hours.

I dont really need it as I have the 360 version but for some reason Im getting the urge to play the multiplayer on PC.

I think you are better off with the 360 version regarding the multiplayer cause it takes a LONG time to find a match on PC.

You did. There was a price hike after being on sale for ~5 hours yesterday.\

Just like there's going to be for Retribution today. edit: AAAAAAAnd it's gone.
Yep.

Who is the half blue chick with a rockin middrift and what game do I have to buy for more of that?

Okay, not to sound like a little bitch, but how much modding / config stuff is required to play Vampire at its most enjoyable? Is it a ton of patching and hacking to get it working or can I just more or less install and roll on it?

I'm really sad that Bulletstorm wasn't on sale at all. That was the 1 game along with Bloodlines that I could be "excited" over on a sale. The rest of the stuff that I bought I would consider in a category like "ok yeah I can play this", but not anything that got me excited like in previous sales.

Anyway I guess today I'll get:

Aquaria
Penny Arcade pack
Mawesome pack
Drakensang River of Time
Spacechem (yes I know it was a daily, my hesitance cost me)

Nice on the Retribution pricing error, bought it even though I'm only at the beginning of Chaos Rising.

I'm happy for everyone who can take advantage of this "pricing error" but I have to admit I'm spitting blood atm, after paying 14.99€ on the very first day. That's such a big difference, not to mention I bought 2 copies, one for my friend too.

Could have gotten Chaos Rising for "free" if we had saved that money. At the moment we sure don't feel like playing the game at all anymore even though we had good fun with it so far.

Ah well, sorry for the rant but I guess it's lesson learnt for next sales : wait until the very last day for pricing errors, you can easily save 50% more.

I'd like to get Fallout New Vegas but I'm worried about that same VATS freeze/pause for 4-5 seconds issue from Fallout 3 GOTY.

Wesp's unofficial 7.5 patch is recommended, but that's pretty much it. Very painless.

All I bought during the sale was the Assassin's Creed collection. Didn't want to go overboard considering I still have to finish Witcher 2. May purchase VVVVVV before the sale ends. I would have bought Batman if it came back.

I bought Dawn of War II - Retribution for 15€ and don´t really care about this price f*ckup. I´m just glad that I took a chance on it and discovered a game that I really liked but had no intention to buy before the sale.
