Review the last few pages of the thread. I had an EA account issue, got escalated to level 2, queued for an hour, got booted at the end of the queue, talked to Level 1 again, had to repeat myself a bunch of times, got told I had my info wrong, got escalated again, and waited another 30+ minutes.

I grabbed it during this sale. Been enjoying it a good bit, though there is some jank. No where near the clusterfuck that the first game was. The spell creation and loot systems make it worth it IMO. I've put over 28 hours into it so far.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II: Retribution back up to 50% $15, just as I was composing an email to Gabe asking "WHERE MY $7.50 AT?!".

So justice in a sense, but I still feel hollow inside. WHY ME, GABE? WHY ME?!

If you don't get it. It will be that at the very least for the Holiday Season, if not cheaper(If they include the 4 packs again). THQ games normally price drop quickly.

so now that the sale is officially over for me I have gotten some games that have coop, but sadly I have no one to play them with. I got Lara Croft Guardian of Light, Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Borderlands, and I already have TF2 and CS:S, Left 4 Dead 2, Killing Floor, etc etc. add me if you are ever down for some coop or multiplayer. I am especially trying to do some Lara Croft coop, because I heard its great.

Yeah I checked the actual store page twice before posting but as of last refresh back to 50%, £14.99.

DoW2 on the main page says $7.49, but when I get to the main page I see $14.99. Any clue why?

*edit* I hadn't refreshed my GAF thread, well, lost sale for them I guess.

Apparently linking facebook to your steam account increases your friends list cap. Cap used to be 250 iirc, I'm at 252.

I had DOW:R in my cart with 7.50 price tag when i went to check out it changed. :(

Do you guys still recommend it? i was about to buy it at that price.

What a horrible lesson to learn. Wait on ALL the dailies until the last day in hopes of ONE pricing error that lasts for about 20 minutes.

After browsing a fan wiki about the game, I found only the Aerial Pack worth it, since the other vehicles are kind of impractical and the weapons packs are lackluster. The plane is really nice though.

Man how sad. I have 3 tickets to use and can't. I redeemed my tickets for the TF glasses,Portal2 goggles, and Alien Breed 2 game. I own none of the others that the stuff can be used on.

bought! and I'mmmmmmmm spent with $1.75 left in my wallet. First time I've ever been able to keep some self control during a STEAM sale. I highly recommend using the wallet feature if you need to keep yourself in check. It's probably the only reason why I didn't spend over my $50 cap. :)

I got DOW for 7.50 and The final hours of Portal 2 for 0.99

I still have to go through my wishlist and see what games I should pick up so far I've got:
The Mawesome pack
Garry's mod
Bob came in pieces
Any other suggestions?

Also, how much more time do we have to get tickets? I presume its tomorrow at 6pm (GMT) when the store updates

Did you enjoy New Super Mario Bros Wii with 4 players? It's the closest experience I can think of to Magicka. You kill your friends a lot as collateral damage.

It's probably not worth it solo.

Added up the damage done during the sale : $ 184.97

Got 30+ games for that amount. Going forward looks like I should just allocate myself $150-$200 during these sales and that will be enough.

I currently have the Assassin's Creed pack in my cart debating whether or not to pull the trigger. I've played all three games already and had them on 360 until a few days ago, but I don't think I'd replay them. I loved them, but not enough to keep going back.
