The aerial pack lets you buy thrusters for your fucking parachute. They're relatively cheap on the black market store (plus you can get a mod that makes everything free I think) and you can go much faster with them. You only get like 4-5 seconds of boost each time but it refills quick and really changes how you travel with the chute.
The airplane it gives isn't bad either.

On topic, can't run Just Cause 2 because of XP, so no go. Was thinking about HoMM pack, but I've got a nearly-finished Dark Messiah and three unplayed King's Bounty games just gathering virtual cobwebs on my games list, so no go. Would buy Hamilton, but same problem as JC2, so no go.
About the only thing I'd buy from today's deals is Spacechem, but I'll have to play the demo first before I commit.

They're not illegitimate... sure. But what a lot of those cdkey sites do is get cheap versions of russian/eastern european games and sell them for a profit. Some publishers don't like this and will have your game removed if you're caught.
That said, most of the time, nothing bad will happen, but there is a chance.

I live in germany since 4 years and everything is IP blocked here and I can only download the cut versions (back in the day there was no gifting)
quite a lot games are cut (missing blood and such) or not released here, but some big games like LA Noire or Assassins Creed are only "ab 16" (teen) instead of "ab 18" (mature/adults only) because Ubi/Rockstar Germany has good PR people who talk to the USK (the german ERSB)
games which seem to be more cinematic or where the violence is reasonable and more movie-like than your ordinary videogame where it is just kill kill kill, are much more tolerated here and even get a teen rating
GTA4 is completely uncut in germany ... weird country, rather difficult to explain everything

The combat system works quite well despite it being real-time with pause solely due to the ability to queue attacks, which is missing in Dragon Age and even Baldur's Gate. Unfortunately, enemy encounters are far too easy to effectively make use of the combat system.
Narrative-wise, most people who recommend the game for its story will do so for a certain plot event, which could be mind-blowing or predictable depending on how intuitive you are. The game does not explore any new ideas within the Star Wars universe, though; it's sequel does to great effect, and just to get the best experience on playing the sequel, the first game might be a required playthrough. It does contain probably the best NPC character Bioware has created in years though.

Ahem, anyway, I'd probably get JC2 for 360 regardless, which leaves Hamiton, Shattered Horizon (lol dead online) and...what other games are non-XP compatible recently? I mean, even The Witcher 2 runs on XP, but that doesn't stop it from looking gorgeous. Are we XP-hoarders really holding everyone else back, or will software makers still cater to us for a few years more?

Loaded up the site and a few games, including Dungeons immediately catch my cover/title judging eye. After further inspection, though, looks like SpaceChem is the only one that might stick.
Also, any wishlist suggestions? I'll likely only have one ticket the entire sale, but I'd still like ot have 10 games on there that aren't on sale and I don't already have. Everything I have so far is a pre-order.

Really torn about that HoMM 5 deal... I'm only interested in playing the game in co-op with my friend, does anyone know if it's even possible? Dont really need co-op in story campaign (would be a nice plus of course), I could settle for playing in the same team as my friend in Multiplayer.
A quick search on google didn't bring up anything so I'm quite worried.
I have fond memories of HoMM 3 in co-op, recall you could play the MP maps with a human on your side against AI heroes and that was probably one of the best gaming experiences I ever had.
This is pretty much a dealbreaking option for me so I'd like some confirmation. :/
