Apparently I have Front Mission Evolved and I have no recollection of buying it....when the hell did this happen

I think I have a problem

Great thanks! So if I have San andreas do I get a gift copy?
generally no unless it's a valve game

Probably already answered but can I still do the Summer achievements from yesterday? Like, if I try to get all of the sunbeams in Toki Tori will I still get a golden ticket?
Yes, you can. I just got the tan achievement an hour ago.

Are the Half Life 1 expansion packs worth playing? I can get the Half Life complete pack for $26.79, or I can get the Orange Box and buy Half Life separately for $20.08 total. I don't know if those Half Life expansions are worth the $6+.

I only have Portal 1 + 2 right now. I could go for the entire Valve Pack for $50, but I can only see myself playing the Half Life games (not into Counter Strike and Left 4 Dead).

Yup :)

Also I kinda want a changing price booth :/ After a few recent checks, there's actually nothing left I want for now (or even could use, for that matter)..

Funny how that is one of the 2 replies I always get for my recommendations. The other one being "Thank you! Good recommendation". Just strange that I always get both statements from the same Gaffers :p
I'm pretty sure that wasn't my first time posting that exact phrase.

Really torn about that HoMM 5 deal... I'm only interested in playing the game in co-op with my friend, does anyone know if it's even possible? Dont really need co-op in story campaign (would be a nice plus of course), I could settle for playing in the same team as my friend in Multiplayer.

A quick search on google didn't bring up anything so I'm quite worried.
I have fond memories of HoMM 3 in co-op, recall you could play the MP maps with a human on your side against AI heroes and that was probably one of the best gaming experiences I ever had.

This is pretty much a dealbreaking option for me so I'd like some confirmation. :/
Does HOMMhave coop? I might buy copies for friends if so.

Is the ticket added to your profile instantly?

Because I just did the extracurricular activity (first optional level) on Hamilton and I see no result, aside from the Steam achievement. :(

I think that one is currently bugged.

Huh.. It actually costs less to get Half-Life 1 Anthology and the Orange Box rather than getting the whole Half-Life Complete. Half-Life Complete doesn't come with Portal either, so you're paying 3 dollars more for one less game.

Edit: Oh, Orange Box doesn't come with Half-Life 2: Deathmatch.

And most of the time not even then.

I'm really debating whether I should get Empire at War. As someone who's relatively new to the genre, do you think I will enjoy it?

Probably, it's not an extremely deep or difficult RTS game at all. It takes a little to grasp everything of course but you get into a routine really quick. You can only put a few buildings on each planet, some more than others depending on the type of planet (coruscant obviously has more spaces than some Ice or Volcano covered planet on the outer rim), but if you're playing on easy or even normal I guess you only need a few basic buildings like a barracks and a light/heavy vehicle one.

The best part are the space battles though. They're flashier and just cooler to participate in than the land ones. Plus you can have Boba Fett or Vader fly around taking people out in their famous ships. The other "hero" units are fun to have too, like the Emperor. I never really played the rebel side but I did run into Han and Chewie during my battles.

There's a story mode but also a conquest type mode. It's a fun little game and I would recommend it to star wars fans, especially at the low price.

Anyone else tracking their spending? I didn't last time, ended up spending a bit more than I wanted to, so I'm trying to keep a record of stuff I buy in Excel this time:

So far I haven't bought as much this sale though, guess that's a sign that I have too many games already...
Half-heartedly tracking my spending (small purchases only) and now I didn't realize Penny Arcade Adventures pack are on sale too for $1.80. Thanks I guess !

What I'm thinking so far:
The Mawesome Pack
The Longest Journey + Dreamfall
The Heroes Pack
Penny Arcade Adventures combo pack
NyxQuest

Total: $18.51

Stop It

Perfectly able to grasp the inherent value of the fishing game.
While it may become a daily deal, I bought the Beat Hazard Ultra DLC and tried the co-op mode with a friend.

It was actually really good, no lag issues (Uk - France connection), and the game is superb fun with 2 players too, well worth it if you like a shooter in your life.

I got the first two ResearchNet puzzles done (Tunnels I and II) as well as the first puzzle of volume 2 issue 7 (Iron and Ozone -- I did this one first before noticing the easier puzzles farther down) and now Im working my way through the story puzzles.

And yeah I've actually done everything I needed to do but the point still stands.

Absolutely not surprised. Popular games take the longest to drop in price.

So I'm guessing you need to buy the summer keys? Will Valve gift at least 1 by the end of the "summer" period do you think?

Edit: Oops for some reason I thought I was in the Team Fortress 2 thread.

It even has local Coop (Hot-Seat). But no campaign coop, just custom map coop.

Great news! By custom map, you mean players made maps or does the game ship with co-op maps directly?

And any idea how easy/smooth the co-op is? Wonder if we can connect through direct IP and/or use Steam instead of having to deal with a dodgy third party (<--- bad experiences with gamespy and GFWL).

Getting "There has been an internal error initializing your transaction. Please contact support for assistance." when I try to buy the JC2 DLC. There was something earlier about waiting a minute between attempts but I did not heed this warning!

Ah is this true? I just bought kotor and im running win7 64 bit. No way around this?

No I started playing it a couple weeks ago and it runs just fine. These is a simple mod for widescreen and another for an updated hud. Other than that it is smooth sailing.

I don't know jack-shit about Just Cause 2 but the five dollar price is too good to pass up. Also it looks fun. Am I in for a treat?

That would be awesome. Tell us how it is since it wasn't at E3 at all, then return to your own time.

Especially for 10 bucks.
