still dont have my 360 back.

As many of you know, my 360 died. Took about two weeks and I got it back working. Then about a week later it rebroke. I called MS and they sent my box off. Or were supposed to. They wound up sending it 3 days after I called. So by the time it got here I was in California. Thanks.

So I sent it off last week. They got it. UPS says they do. They even say they do. But they dont know when I will have it back. So, Im now up to a total of 35 days without an Xbox (and for those of you keeping track it came out about 100 days ago.

Ive spent about 1200 dollars on games, peripherals, Xbox Live, XBLA games, etc. and havent had the stupid system for a third of the time since I bought it. What has MS offered me to make up for this? Not a fucking thing. They wont even extend my warranty for free (they want me to pay for it, it technically has allready expired but I called this latest problem in before it had).. even better they wont give me credit for Xbox Live which Im still paying for right now. I signed onto Xbox Live a couple of times at my friends house to see if I had any messages. MS decided that meant I was still using it. Fuckwads.

Now excuse me while I go throw my 360 games like Frisbees, because Im going to get some entertainment value out of my money.
 
thats terrible in the UK they have been pretty good from what I heard returning the console within 3-5 business days although someone I know over on darkzero has had to return his... hope he isn't in such a shitty situation as u have been put in. Hopefully you will get it back soon!
 
i think you've had a string of bad customer service people because whenever i've had a problem MS has treated me well.

ask to speak to a supervisor or manager, im sure you can get your xbl account credited or extended.

call up ms and ask them since you've had a lot of trouble with your xbox 360 ask them for compensation and be poliet about it. you should be able to get a free game..


either kamoe pgr 3 or perfect dark zero.
 
call M$ and tell them in a calm and serious manner if they dont' compensate you in one way or another that they're about to lose their customer to Sony and you're gonna strongly advise your friends not to buy x360 for the kinda shit they are pulling on you. see how they response
 
Ouch man seems you're getting fucked over by "the man" as much as I was, I hope you get it back soon, it took my 360 2 weeks to get back to me after something fried inside. It's seriously BS that they won't compinsate you for a service that you're paying for but can't use because their hardware is broken.

They will tell you PS3 has been delayed till next year, so no choice right now :D

I called back today and was put on hold for 20 minutes. When they came back, they told me there was nothing they could offer me. Thats when the cussing started. I got hung up on. :lol
 
damn man, thats fucked it happened again. They said no to compensate you? fuck that, I would call right back and pester them all day.

This makes me nervous as I haven't even turned my 360 on since mid-December. I've got a feeling when I turn it on again it's going to explode or some shit, and I'm not covered under their warranty any longer.

Yes it worked for me and a couple of others that I've talked to that have had major problems with the MS tech support (All within Canada). They screwed me over for far too long, I'm just glad I don't use LIVE. Threaten them with the BBB if you don't get any sort of update on your machine they can always do something they just don't feel like it.

The manager told me that nothing could be done about my PSU til I sent my old one back. Though I was told many times by the agents that I didn't have to because of what I went through and all the fuck ups on their part. I threatened the manager, the next day I had 2 PSU's shipped overnight to my door at 10am.
 
Hearing stories like this just makes me sick at Microsoft. Thats just shit service right there.

At the very minimum they should credit you a few months of Xbox Live service. They should even throw in a FREE game while they're at it. You should be very aggressive and demand things Stooge.
