No temporary?
Sorry, but if thats true, then thats a worst act then MS did with TR.
In what way? Because SF is a bigger game?

But it was in EnglishGuys this is the JAPANESE trailer. Nothing confirmed yet. Everything in Japan is Ps4 exclusive lol

Gears remake collection. A true Banjo sequel. Halo 5 beta in the hands of gamers. The next Bayonetta, Dead Space and Crysis as exclusives. Those are the kinds of blockbuster response announcements I expect, and then some. You hit Microsoft with a jab, you best be ready for a flurry of uppercuts coming at you in response.
Link to SE providing platforms? I don't remember them announcing any platforms. It was just assumed it was multiplat. The issue with Tomb raider is that it was announced as multi platform and then later a new trailer was shown as Xbone only. At least street fighter is being announced and revealed as an exclusive. Not announced to get everyones hopes up and then turned into an exclusive.
I'm not comparing anything, nor did I say I was. It's a fact, as a consumer, I have to purchase said console to play said game. Bitching about it on a message board isn't going to change that. Either purchase it, or not. Why the hell would I start complaining about a situation that has a hugely simple solution? You do see that you're comparing Sony buying a 3rd party exclusive to MS and Nintendo having a first party title though, right?
Why aren't we upset about this?
So Sony moneyhat for SFV, everything is alright.
MS moneyhat for TR, shitstorm ensues.
Gotta love the hypocrites here.
In what way? Because SF is a bigger game?
We know why, it is pretty obvious
Dead Rising 2 was on both your point?
Looks cool. A little disappointed they didn't change up the art style.
So it it is SOMEHOW excuses this? SFIV was on both
What a disgrace. All of the FGC playing on the same, more powerful console.
/s
I woul have prefered DMC5 to be the surprise anouncement.
Why aren't we upset about this? We were upset about Tomb Raider. Is this not the same exact thing?
So it it is SOMEHOW excuses this? SFIV was on both
What's YOUR point? SFIV and DR 2 probably sold better on x360.
You are amazing
They've gone and done it... they've gone and woke the sleeping dragon now.
Sony should have left well enough alone and now they're going to get it. It's not enough that they're bleeding benjamins from practically every crevice of their existence. Now they go and throw immense moneyhats at a niche game like Street Fighter just to piss off the market. Why pay to keep a game out of the hands of as many gamers as possible? Why not put that money into first-party studios and games instead?
I know, I know... this is the way the business goes as they say. Well, they forced Microsoft's hands with their early sales lead and Microsoft only responded with an NPD whooping (source: musings thread) by way of incredible deals and value. Microsoft will undoubtedly follow this announcement up with some real megatons of their own.

This is not the same as the TR deal.
Sony are still dicks. Moneyhats suck. I wish they were better than that.
Glad Capcom didn't decide to make the next game in Flash.
I'm just kind of surprised at the volume of it all.

Capcom has seen almost every business venture of late either fail or decline, and they don't seem to have much business vision at the top outside of "something is popular, let's try that," so I suspect they've decided to retreat to trying to make money the easiest and safest way possible. If it is exclusive to the PS4 for consoles, then I think Capcom's management problems are far deeper than any of us envisioned. They seem to have almost no confidence to go in alone on any big release this generation. They would have canned Dead Rising 3 without Microsoft's support, and if they can't even be bothered to take a risk on Street Fighter V of all things without Sony being a partner, then the company really has a dismal future.
So Sony moneyhat for SFV, everything is alright.

Really now...?
Slow-mo action

"Back in my day"I'm not upset about either of them. Back in my day, you were lucky to have multiplats. Not only that, but even if you got one, it could have been the inferior version.
Well then announcing it and not platforms and people get excited to later find out it is exclusive is dirtier than this.Link to SE providing platforms? I don't remember them announcing any platforms. It was just assumed it was multiplat.
You're right, the TR deal is known to be temporary. This may not be, so it's actually worse. This is not the same as the TR deal.
