I don't know. I've been punished when I do V-Dash -> overhead, but not standing overhead. It really shouldn't be punishable, if it is. Ever.

Oh right, the MK command normal! Good point. Still, having both is rare on a character.

Laura's V-Skill is also probably the best bait and punish tool in the game.

She's interesting. Being able to cancel so many of her normals into her v-skill seems big for her playstyle.

A forward dash, a backward dash and an overhead kick. You can cancel the backdash version into the overhead. Hold the stick forward, backward or neutral to pick the variation.

Laura's v-skill is probably my favorite. Love that overhead and it can even be used to cancel an attack into a quick forward or backward dash. Im excited to see what high level play looks like with her. I think she has the most potential of the characters I've seen.

Also, please select your character & stage under "Battle Settings" prior to entering Training Mode. They will be random otherwise.

If you back dash with the v-skill, you can immediately cancel into a forward dash juke if you press MP+MK again
