What has been up the last couple days is just an early stress test to iron out some issues.

I remember, back in the days of SF2, if I lost to someone, it was really deserved..

In SF4, I could have a solid lead all the time, just because I was playing better, and at the end could have an ultra slapped into my face and losing the match..

There was so much bullshit going on in SF4.
I haven't played SF5 yet, but everything I hear sounds great in that regard.

Classic case of bs in my fav game is better than bs in the other games. In sf 2 because of random stun and damage you could die in one combo off a jump in, do you think that's better than losing to a random ultra?

Looking forward to one year in the future when everyone is complaining about the bs in this game.

me and others got that error a lot on the 1st day, just continue from the main title into the updater
getting the error doesn't reset the download

A3 was utterly stupid. SF4 is nowhere near as bad as A3 was.

I love Alpha 3 but at a high level that game was completely and utterly broken.

pretty sure staying on the error screen doesn't continue the download
from the error, go back to the main menu then into the updater, repeat until 100% lol

Looks like the matchmaking is still working good since the hotfix last night. Excellent.

Hopefully it stays this way once the PC version is up.

Damn. It keeps spending me right back to the installation failed screen the second I hit the title page.

up , took me like 30 tries lol,
3% per second that i got into it.
though i could play the game offline by pressing the ps button quickly.
that stopsthe download and lets you play around a bit instead of rebooting

Why? Is throwing a bad fireball when you're at 100% hp and losing the round better than taking 35% damage from a random ultra (which hit you because you made bad decision as well most of the times). If it is in which way?

Thankfully I feel myself fiending less and less for this game. Not that my hype is diminished, but that I've had a chance to play this extensively with the past few betas.

lol, I had an opponent (Rashid) seriously just stare at me as I charged Mika's V-skill to its maximum extent at the beginning of the match and I ended up killing him immediately with a command grab as he tried to hit me. First time that's happened.

Edit: Though I've seen a couple others just stare me down as I did it some other times. Dunno if they're challenging me or what.

Edit 2: And it happened again! Against another Rashid player. Maybe her speech has an entrancing effect.
