The connection has been unstable for me. Managed to get my first casual match in with Chun Li and win against a Karin player. Aside from that though, I haven't had any luck. Got 9 matches through Survival with Chun Li before the game went offline. I guess I will just stick in training until this server mess gets sorted out. I'm nervous to play Story/Survival and get disconnected because I don't want to run the risk of server antics screwing me out of fight money.

I got 7 matches in earlier and then hit disconnects. Been 30 mins since I've had a match connect.
HAHA, Like it was ever going to be any other way! People acted like they were being so generous by letting you earn characters for free, but I can't believe people actually thought the intention wasnt still to make money. Of course the grind is very demanding, they want you to buy that season pass. So you need online wins in Ranked to earn FM once all the SP FM is earned. Even a third of the alt colors are locked behind a boring Survival grind on Hard. We all know a quick unlock for alt colors is comng.

I am wondering how advanced FADC was compared to V-Skills. I didn't think of linking a lot of combos until a few years after SFIV was out. SFV has that possibility, but I wonder how in depth the tech is going to be.
From my limited beta time, you can connect to SBK off of Cr. HP immediately after the first hit, and also after Cr. MK.

Well I put in a bunch of time tonight with the game, and yep, Necalli is going to be my main. I feel really comfy with his moveset, and eating through a fireball with the charge move will never not be fun.
Also, thanks to GAF, I learned the VPN trick, which is absolutely amazing. I was able to get in and get my name, rack up about 160,000 fight moneys before everyone else logged in and killed the servers. I played through Easy and Normal Survival offline, just for fun, and unlocked 4 alt colors for Necalli and one for Ken. Think I need to take a break for tonight though.
