I'm on PC. Never had it during the betas either, but I think my friend had it during the beta so it's likely a bug.

Started out pretty brutal in Ranked and lost like 5 in a row but since my nerves have calmed down I won 6 of my last 7 and by good margins. Now I'm not panicking as much as I was when it was a close match and just playing my game and being patient instead of the person throwing out random unsafe shit. When the servers are actually working the game is fucking amazing, but they need to keep them shits up and give people a notice for down times so we don't get fucked if we're playing survival on match 92. Gonna watch the tournament tonight and then cross my fingers I get my stick in the mail tomorrow. The DS4 is one of the worst pads for a fighting game.

I'm still not super comfortable with anyone enough to go into online extensively. Lots of Survival Mode for me coming up to work out who all I'm decent with

Network issues aside, the amount of content and features are very threadbare when compared to other $60 fighters, even taking into account what is being rolled out over the next six months.
The last $60 fighter I played that was criticised for an anemic lack of content was Soul Calibur V, and it had more content and working features than SFV at launch.

I seem to be getting random slowdowns in menus and sometimes in matches on the PC version.
As soon as I alt tab out and go back in it fixes the problem. However the slowdowns will randomly pop up again after 10-20 minutes.

I have a similar problem as described in a post above. Would love to try the alt-tab trick when it happens again but that will be 12 hours later after work

Take advantage of neutral jump, probably something a lot of new players don't use enough. Jump straight up and let them react, a lot of time they will whiff a throw or whatever. Just be careful because if you're playing a shoto character they might be mashing dragon punch.
Well it depends because if you're playing me I'm just going to keep throwing you and mixing up with jabs and my command throw so you have no idea whats coming. You need to read the other player and see what their tendencies are.
blocking on wakeup is your best friend, dont try to jab
Neutral jumping sometimes works too

Anyone have any idea why the 2p controller isn't being registered by SFV?
I'm on PS4, me and my friend are trying to play locally, and we're both on PS4 Arcade Sticks. But for some reason, the game will not recognize the 2p stick when we enter the game even though it works fine in other games and on the main menu.
Does this have to do with the fact that the big install patch is still dowoading? I assumed that wouldn't affect offline versus.

Yeah had the same reaction. And his poison fireball thing is up down charge too which seems weird (like your brain is hardwir3d for fireballs to be back forward)

Yeah I think I remember you.
If you're the Cammy I'm thinking of, I only fought 2, you were actually really good at applying pressure.
It's just that I was able to "spike" across the map and go in whenever you attacked/moved forward. Block a bit more and you'd probably would've won.
