Street Fighter V |OT| No Options to Select

My Mika brethren, how the hell do you guys fight Nash and Karin specifically? Karin's mix ups are godlike and I have so much trouble with her. I sometimes have issues going in against Nash. Anyone want to share some tips against Karin? I feel like she beats Mika easily with those mixups.

You have to be patient against anyone that tries to zone and wait for an opening. You'll likely fall pretty far in the life lead, but your EX elbow has super armor and is your best (and only) friend against zoners. It only takes you getting in once to get those mix ups going.

Those are pre-order extra costumes though. So unless they surprise us with extra costumes for everyone when the store opens we can expect only the story costumes when the store opens in March.

Oh, I must be just thinking about Super and on. Point still stands though. Take the color unlocks the hell out of survival mode. Just let us earn them by playing however we like win or lose.

KI's colors took a hell of a long time to unlock, but at least you were always working towards them by simply playing.
 
The HYPE from this thread got me. Just purchased on the PS Store.

I haven't played SF in years so I'm coming in blind.

Is there 1 character that would be best to learn the game with? I was thinking Ryu or Ken.

Ryu is the most straight forward but really just go in with who you're interested with. This game isn't super execution heavy so anyone should be fine.
 
I played survival as Chub Li in her pre-order costume, and I unlocked the new color for it. Do I have to play it again in her original costume to unlock the color variations for that one?
 
Just fought my friend's Nash as Karin, and got stopped cold at nearly every offense. This MU feels bad for Karin. Like Nash out prioritizes her from mid range, and has no problem keeping her out at close. It just feels like there's so many angles he can hit from, and do it better, and safer

Ryu definitely. Ken's actually pretty advanced in this game, especially compared to Ryu.

Ryu and Ken are decent but honestly, just pick someone you like and go with that. Watch a lot of other people playing (you can watch anyones replay) and practice practice practice.

Nope, like the other guy said. Pick someone you like visually, and more importantly gameplay wise. Learn basic mechanics, like button presses and v-guage nonsense, then go for learning characters.

Ryu is most standard I guess but just pick whoever. Ken is fairly different than he has ever been though lol.
 
Was finally able to play online, 3 casual games. Lost all three and one had terrible lag but I think I'm going to main Laura cause I had lots of fun!

Now to find some BnB combos!
 
How is the China stage the only one with breakable walls? Did they give up the idea mid-development and didn't bother removing the noodle shop?

Edit: And why in the hell can't we pick the Kanzuki stage during the day?
 
Just finished all characters stories.

Quick question. Have charge moves been removed? Every legacy characters move seems a hell of a lot easier to pull off over previous SF titles.

There's still charge moves. Chun-li, Necalli and Bison have charge moves, I think Vega has too, though not sure
