Ugh, all of these really great matches with no communication whatsoever. Give me premade commands or something Capcom! This Ryu just parried me at a clutch moment, it was beautiful.

Heavy Ressenha (qcb+p) goes thru Fireballs, be careful that you dont do it too late as it does have a few frames of startup, better to block if the fireball is almost on you
Use her cr.mp>s.mp to confirm into qcb+K for easy damage, you also never used your v trigger, the qcf+P will go right through close range fireballs and get him as hes recovering. if they block press kick to dash back and bait out an attack, be warned it uses the equivalent of a guren ken so it really burns your v gauge to do it often
If v triggered, go for a qcf+k to dash and a punch before the dash ends, its a launcher, once in the air you can qcf+P him to catch him in the guren ken combo. You dont want the simple qcf+p>p one, you want qcf+p>downP>downP, which will juggle him for 4 hits and allow you time to buffer your super at the end of the last hit. Give it a try in practice. look up some karin BnB (Bread and butter, combos all users should know to be competent as the character) vids on youtube.
I see you use lights way more than me, I have a bad habit of only using med/fierce and forgettting to apply pressure with lights, her light kicks combo into the light ressenha, which can be used to confirm and buffer super while its landing
and add my ass so we can practice not being shitty karins together.

It's negative, but not punishable. But you have the advantage, jab or go for the throw. He could do something dumb like EX spin or super to punish your attempt to take control though.

Sorta, after the Naomi games there was nothing until CFE. Capcom Japan even sold off the rights to its USA branch, who mostly used it for comics & other merchandising.
I'd rather not go through those times again.

Edit: Looking at the source more closely I don't think it's a typical "contributor". It says on his Twitter profile he writes about video games for Forbes and he has 11.6k Followers. I don't think he'd make something up. But again, it is labeled contributor so...

Is it normal that I have to go deep into the options menu to activate my PS3 stick every time I start the game? Other games that use the lab zero drivers just detect the stick automatically. Seems intentionally obtuse.

Nope. Only accessible through the website. The mobile version seems pretty well done, though.
Just made the page show up as an 'app' on my home screen for quick access.
Nope, I'm pretty sure theres no way to download as the first SF4 had a PDF and made rounds around the internet.
The "eGuide" for Prima is a website you have to access (I think)

On the main screen when I click on the 'Network' icon it is greyed out & it just says in a notification at the bottom left "Your selection is currently unavailable"
Is this the same for everyone?
When I turn the game on it says it's connecting to the server & I have been able to play online, this has always been the same for me since I first played.
