Don't expect anything other than a reveal of who is coming next week. They never promised anything, so anything more than nothing can be considered "something special".

Yeah, as I said before, you'll get a character at the least. At the most? Who knows.

Necaili will suck out all the bad, creamy SnH stuff from Ryu.
Ken will do nothing besides get his ass beat by Ryu.
Bison and Nash will kill each other after Bison gets whooped by Ryu.
Chun Li will back up Cammy and beat the shit out of Vega.
Guile will go home to be a family man.
Birdie and Karin will get looped into fights here and there.
Sim will train Ryu.
Rashid is trying to find C. Viper, will find and bop FANG, fights Chun Li for whatever reason.
Mika, Alex, Gief, and Laura will be in a wrestling match thingy that will end up being interrupted or Gief taking it. Alex might leave. Who knows.

You will fight NPCs of certain characters, from guards to maybe Decrappy (probably just a Cammy skin) to fill the time.

Bet on all that happening.

It'll probably be Nash and Bison who have the ultimate showdown and then both kill each other off, probably resulting in the explosion that will destroy the purple ball of evil, which will be happening while Ryu and Necalli are having their lover's spat fight on the ground.

Doubt that Necalli becomes Gill. It's just most likely the illumanti captures him and they find how to harness his power so that's why Gill gets crazy hair.

We already know the origin of Gill. He grew up with Urien, & usurped Urien for the position of President of the Illuminati due to Urien's emotional instability. As of SFIII, Urien challenged Gill for the position of president & won. As for Gill, he ended up getting promoted to Messiah, while Urien took care of the business side of things (hence his business suit in Urien's intro animation back in SFIII).

At most, I can see Necalli getting captured by the Illuminati to help enhance the power of the higher-ranking members (I.E. Gill & Urien).

Shadaloo is the villain of the story expansion. They need Balrog. Ibuki, Juri and Urien? Not so much.

Yeah, there are two women in the background of Kanzuki estate that look exactly like them.

And anyone who's seen the recent Valle episodes of Excellent Adventures would know that Kazunoko is in the City of Chaos stage.

She is? How?

I remember her showing up and taunting Cammy in that story, but that's about it. What am I missing?

She shows up as lovely eye candy in Cammy's story and we find out that she's investigating the same thing as Abel/Guile in Guile's story mode.

Zangief is the only unviable character in the game IMO. Even then, they buff his mobility or give him a way to ingress better and he becomes a good character. His jab and his SPD range are insane tools stuck on an otherwise limited character.

They should just give Gief a parry timing for his V Skill.

It's more like it's about time they released another female character, the male/female ratio wasn't all that hot to begin with and the first DLC characters have both been male as well.

Is he gonna grow taller? Gill is not a little man like Necalli. Then again, Remy went from 6'3 in 3s to 5'7 or whatever in the recent art.

Necalli is tall, isn't he? He's just hunched over.

I only know what a "waifu" is because of Persona and the like. Don't get how it applies to Ibuki or Juri.

Edit: Just checked, Necalli is 6'3", Gill is 6'10.

The surprise is actually just them using a tournament to advertise a character release. It's surprising because they realize they should have been doing this from jump.

I figured it would have been Decapre instead of Ibuki. I can't see Decapre not being fleshed out and differentiated from Cammy even more after she was hyped so much in Ultra IV.

Ibuki is one of the most popular Street Fighter females.

Decapre is a Cammy clone.
