I'm not sure how much casual mode cares about MMR.
so.. should I just play ranked?
even though I suck?
like are the matches more even?
I just assume they match you based on your ranked medal level, MMR, whatever you wanna call it. Like I will never play a Rookie in casual mode anymore, especially now.
You will fight other true Rookies. Lounges are always a good option though.
Yeah, just hop in with people here after looking at their points (to make sure they're below 1000), or just ask for people Super Bronze or lower to set something up.
I'll gladly take either unlocking character colors via leveling up or purchasing the colors with Fight Money from the Store.
Pay for the colors with FM.Hope this involves getting more FM too

Thank fucking god. Just make it like SF4
So we're at that point in the game's release where there's a bunch of smurfs cause I don't think a Karin with only ten matches and won every one of them, and knows all of her set ups is a new player
inb4 random drops for doing Daily Targets
They could've played just casuals/battle lounges this whole time because they didn't want to do ranked until now.
Its like since the story update, things are getting better! What is this fuckery ? They finally listened ? What is the world coming too ?
I don't buy it.
I started playing ranked 4 days ago, had a 28 streak with Guile. Only played battle lounges before.I don't buy it.
The F2P model. It's like golden portraits in HS.Colors didn't need to be unlocked in SFIV, so why is Capcom suddenly treating them like some kind of big bonus worth grinding away (and paying) for? It's so scummy.
I don't buy it.
Just picked up the game today to play with my sister, who was a pretty big SF4 fan. We both tried out a used stick they had hanging around, and we both hated it, so we're gonna stick with pads. Is there anything we can pick up that would be better than the normal PS4 controller? Or is that the top of the line at this point?
Her name is Lara and I main Laura. Every time I win I go "hey look, you won!"

Hori's workable for motion characters. But not for charge ones.

I haven't had any issues with it. Beat Balrog's trials and normal survival with it.
Trying to play Bison w/ it has been nightmarish for me. Motion chars work fine.I haven't had any issues with it. Beat Balrog's trials and normal survival with it.
Guys, guys, guys. Balrog is so much fucking fun. I have my new main it is glorious. I just took out my boy's Laura. I *hate* Laura as a general rule. He was messing around with different characters at first and losing so he went crawling back to his main---and still lost. Two Gigaton Blow's to the grill in separate rounds. Sooo good. And I've barely scratched the surface with him!!

I beat my scrubby friend with 3 randoms and then he beat my main ;_;, granted I was mostly fucking around, but I still got slightly salty haha.
That's a weird mentality to have, any controller should be workable for charge characters.
I think it's a legit opinion. It's harder to get the slides over from b to f or d to up on a pad
Yeah this just comes down to comfort or whatever's easiest for you. Luffy won EVO on a PS1 controller. Don't matter what you use. Use what's comfy!
Oh you people with your mangas and animes.
This is all you need to know!!Like Street Fighter? ;]
Seriously, I have considering picking up manga again just so I can figure out half of the lore, that seems completely unexplained any where else.
