It's amazing how many people all the way up to 4000 LP or so can't block crossups.
After they get hit by a couple they just start getting really determined to DP jump ins, then you can get max punish combos off of safe jumps.
It's like set play, that they've enabled, because they can't read a jump trajectory.

This is blasphemous.Apparently Capcom did some modifications to Cammy's model as of the previous Ibuki/Balrog update.
Finally played some ranked for the first time, only lost to the people with like 1000LP.... too bad everybody I played had like 1000LP.
I beat two dudes who were yung rookies like me, and I had one person quit out after one match even though he beat me.
I'm do bad at this game. I can do great for like 1 round, and then I can feel myself mentally falling apart. Go from reading the match to failing to mash out a 2 hit combo. it's not pretty.

Jesus! Capcom, you suck. I want them to add sex appeal to characters, not take it away. After seeing what they did to Juri, I guess I cant be suprized.
SF5 has a consistent history of removing that stuff.

What you on? Juri looks far sexier with the latex. Besides I am pretty sure that 99.9% of gamers who play this game and who are not on gaming forums would have noticed the difference. I actually had no clue that you could see her nipples until I saw that post.

I'd have noticed the difference at the vs/character select screen straight away. Pretty sure there'd be more than 0.01% of straight males (not on gaming forums) in the same boat.
Honestly, the latex saved Juri's outfit. Right now it just looks kind of stupid but the added latex allows for some interesting color combinations that wouldn't be possible with bare skin. The bare skin look reveals how odd the costume really is where it looks like it's supposed to be this tactical/biker catsuit outfit but they stripped away material to expose all the key areas to jerk off to. I'm not super fond of how the latex looks just like black skin but the previous design may be even dumber looking than R. Mika's outfit.
It's the kind of nonsensical design one would expect from a DLC outfit that was clearly generated to appeal to the demographic starving for waifu material. There's a lot of SF4 DLC outfits that are visually such a mess it's hard to parse what you're actually looking at and SF5 seems to be following in that tradition.
I think it's a bad design choice when the majority of female cast is dressed in a way that's overly revealing (on top of the increased cup sizes the entire cast got for SFV) but my real issue is how poor the designs are just to amp up the sexiness. R. Mika's outfit, for example, has always looked kind of dumb but they really double downed on her wearing this latex abomination that looks like it was cut up by a grade schooler trying to make paper dolls. Considering all the bad costumes we got for SF4 I knew this was going to happen eventually with SF5 but I really wish they just saved them for DLC costumes.
And to be fair, this "Hitting Random on Create-A-Wrestler" style of character design isn't relegated just to the women. There's plenty of bizarre outfits for the guys, notably Alex's alts. I really miss the simpler designs of SF2 and 3.

I wonder how many people here actually main Juri from SSF4. Capcom went overboard with the sex appeal on Juri with the whole dominatrix look. Yes she's sadistic but this is ridiculous. As if Capcom hasn't done enough with Cammy running around London with no pants.
Never mained her in SFIV but I really enjoyed her in SFxTK and her SFV version is like half a new character compared to what she was.... Will def give her a spin in SFV when she's out though

Never really cared for her gameplay style in SSF4,USF4 and SFxTK but she is looking like main potential for me.
Really enjoyed playing with her in the story mode and looking forward to playing her final version.
Also finally, I might main a character that doesn't look like an abomination and doesn't have costumes that adhere to that design philosophy.
