I really love urien
Urien can actually play decent keep away in this game. Just his anti-airs seem to be lacking a bit.

The season pass is only £12 on the EU psn store until the 28th - I guess it wont get much cheaper than that? Tempted to get it at that price so i can use my fight money on other things

Yep that's what I done. I think £12 is a bargain considered each character would then be £2 each.

Started up the game for the first time in months, felt really rusty cause I had gotten so used to KoF's button layout.
Matchmaking is still busted for our region. Can't believe Capcom still isn't prioritizing this, but oh well.
Ran into a guy who was like my demon when I first started SFV. Could only take a round off of him at best and he's currently Platinum.
Managed to beat him 4-0. For 2 of them, he had Urien and for the other 2, he had his main Necalli.
Only dropped a single round, and I feel kinda proud of myself. I've really mastered the fundamentals of this game even if I still have a long way to go before I can consider myself a genuinely good player.

Are you using training mode to verify your inputs? Turn on key display so you can see if your direction inputs are accurate. If they are, maybe you're doing it too slowly or hitting the button at the wrong time.]blacky[;217940147 said:

My framerate has gone down since the Urien update. I had a pretty solid 60fps on mostly high settings. Now no matter how I change the graphic settings I can't reach 60.

As much as these bonkers Urien combos are hype and cool to watch, does anyone have any links to vids or a written break down of some simple / practical bnbs to start incorporating in matches?
Been messing around with the buttons and getting a sense.of everything in training, getting execution down, but don't really have a clear idea (outside of crush counter) of where I should be getting and what I should be doing for simple combo damage from openings.

Mirrors have been amazing for me so far. Shields everywhere, fireballs reflecting back at each other for double ko's.

There is a mod that will help called Sunny Days Complete iirc that basically eliminates the weird fog/filter that Capcom put in all the stages that not only helps fps, it makes everything vibrant and clear to see. Plus you can mess with the ini file to turn off motion blur and AA entirely.

I uninstalled yesterday and reinstalled a few minutes ago. Loaded it up without the game asking for permission to do anything so it looks good to go

I wonder if turning off fog will distract when I'm back on PS4 in some upcoming tournaments.

Yeah, turning off AA at least definitely helps me but I'm running an older CPU in my Alienware @ only 3ghtz
Edit:
As far as distracting you, I don't think it will. I ran casuals on PS4's at Video Game Con by me in Jersey a couple of weeks ago and it didn't bother me at all.

Thanks, finally it worked.
Now I play all character-storys first: It's a shame, that they are so easy.
If you use nvidia, open SFV through that geforce program.
Can they quick rise out of it?

Tried it there. Didn't change a thing. Tried a few different optimization settings too and nothing.
I even gave low spec mode a shot and it wouldn't reach 60 there either. Very weird.

You have to delete Capcom.Sys after uninstalling and rebooting the computer if you haven't already.
After that, the game shouldn't have to run as administrator.
On Steam it's actually the busiest weekend since EVO. It might make it worse!?
Is that the prima one? Bummed because it seems like vframes is dead, hasn't been updated since balrog.
