Revenge always feels so so satisfying.

Last week I got matched up against a Bison in the game that would've taken me to Gold had I finished it, but he ragequit at the last minute and denied me my sweet reward. Just now fought and decimated that same guy as Urien (I was Mika when we first fought) and I was cackling like a maniac the whole time.

I know that feeling all too well

I don't think (hope) that Capcom will be that predictable with the next characters. Sakura and Sagat though seem very likely given the popularity but I want them to surprise me.

NOPE, SF4 was the best bang for your buck fighting game ever, but SFV most of the shit is very expensive when compared to their SF4 pricing model..Just the Ultra DLC upgrade was $15 for 4 characters, i remember the shoto dlc costume pack costing $3.99 for 4 costume, now it's $3.99 for 1....

Now, Capcom tries to address those complaints with a new system (which will end up being cheaper in the long run), and suddenly people start praising the old system that was hated. Predictabo.

People similarly crapped on SFxT's DLC practices...but, now that DLC characters cost up to $8 (for GGXrd), people want to go back to those SFxT days, when the DLC characters averaged out to less than $2 each.

the yolo players mostly. Constant DPs, never stop pressing buttons, they get one jump in on you after 100 tries and you're dead. Runs away with the points.

Looking over the Season 2 poll results, considering they included Joe, Mike, Lee and Retsu, they probably should of included the CPU only characters from SFV too.

I know Peter and the dolls would at least get a few votes, and I'm sure the AS fighters have fans out there somewhere. I'm always interested in seeing how lesser known characters like them are viewed.

My memory is fuzzy, but I remember reading somewhere that capcom isn't actually going to make any gameplay changes, just bug fixes. So nerfs and buffs aren't happening. Let me see if I can find that article.

The rankings shift thanks to the current cast makeup of SFV, the rumor mill, the prominence of certain characters/families in story mode and background appearances/cameos. A bunch of characters like Necro, Ingrid, Sean, Sodom, Makoto, C.Viper and Maki all made large jumps thanks to some of those factors. That said, if Japan were putting in their votes as well I bet the makeup of the top twenty would be even more surprising. Maki and Ingrid would probably be in the top ten along with Makoto, C.Viper and Sakura.
