That and combos into EX tenko-->orochi on a stick, doing all those piano pushes makes me want to crawl into a corner in a fetal position and cry. ;_; On that pad though, it's like butter!

Man. I honestly didn't think it was possible.

What's your CFN? Wanna watch some of your replays.

Anti airs are weak. Except for the ones that are great. Which are not only high utility because you can react with them in a game where its hard to react and you get follow up options.

I don't see the problem in what you're describing. Trading damage for frame advantage is fine.

Even with AA jabs I've heard several competitive players saying there's no real penalty for jumping in when the one time it lands is going to lead to huge damage.

would be if the only character that isnt top 5 that reaps the benefits of it is alex. necalli, ryu, chun all have a compounded benefit from this.

I hate AA jabs because , even if you bait a poke and Jump. They will recover in time to mash that 3f Jab and AA you. Then there is also the free dash mixup after that.

I dont like them , they look weird as hell too with their wonky hit/hurboxes. I hope Capcom gives better hitbox to the medium/heavy AAs and get rid of the AA jab.

My stick is kinda boring but I got stick art by Ishiwatari!

Finally picked up the season pass yesterday. Juri seems pretty cool, I think she's a lot more interesting than she used to be. Doubt I'll main her but she's fun. I just want Urien to come out.

Any of you are using the Hayabusa lever?

I play on one. Used to use a regular Sanwa JLF.

I like it a lot. Feels a little lighter than the Sanwa. Both feel nice though.

I want to try the Hayabusa buttons but I'm happy enough with Sanwa buttons. They're so much better than the Kuros my HRAP came with.

Just curious what people rock for PC settings:

I turned the Post-Processing on Low and Anti-Aliasing on Medium. The rest of the settings are on High. I feel like my computer can handle it but I'm weary to put settings on Maximum.

PP and AA on low

Everything else mid, 750ti here with v-sync off.
Does the settings have a effect on your online match connection btw?

Here's my stick. Nothing too special. An Xbox 360 Madcatz SFIV TE Fight Stick modded with a Seimitsu LS-56-01 stick and bat top. The stiffer springs make execution of moves better for me but it's harder to dash. 7th and 8th buttons are plugged up.

Heh, still remember when I got this one. My first stick. Still got it and I use it on PC occassionally.

Guess I could repost my PS4 stick. I definitely shared it around the time the game came out since I only finished it the same day SFV dropped.
Were you at evo? I saw some dude with a chain as a strap and that shit looked mad uncomfortable. Definitely suffering for that aesthetic.

I finally did it! I reached Silver with Rashid. Blanka was my main in SFI!V, and I was pretty good with him. Rashid has finally clicked, and I've reached the mountain top!

;)

This game really needs a connection/performance test that you have to pass before you can play online. Fucking sick of getting peasants with shitty ass Internet when I have the game set to 5 bars only.

If you haven't done it yet, turn on battle confirmation, this way you'll see the connection status before confirm. It's been a known issue since the beginning that setting it to 5 bars can still give you people lower than 5.

While I dont think they should prevent people who paid $60 from playing online. I wish there was a Online performance test , Capcom can then track the score internally and match people.

Fking so many ppl that start off as 5 bars , and then goes to shit in the next few seconds.

I honestly feel like some people are deliberately fucking their internet up, because I've seen 5 bar connections drop to a total shit show. I can't see that just being capcom's netcode

I think he means something like Killer Instinct where it makes sure that you can maintain a stable 60fps before you can play online matches.

My old HRAP going almost 9 years strong. Though I havent been using it for SFV. Thank you Capcom for banning PS3 sticks.

Nice artwork.

Wish I can custom art my fightstick ;-;

Truth.
I reached super bronze the other day after 2months not touching ranked. Then I had back-to-back-to-back matches with shitty connection kens. Shit got me back to bronze. ;-;.

On the plus side also beat Extra Story mode so was able to cop the story outfit for Juri.

And Juri is cool, having fun maining her.

wow didn't know KI had that. KI is light years ahead of this game when it comes to online features.

Wait what? the PC Version of SFV does not have a performance test before going online? Even freaking SFIV had that.

Also I think he was referring to Online stability. Like Run a Test match to see if your connection remains stable. Some people can be 5 bars when you ping them , but then get into the match and they randomly start lagging at times.
