Yeah, not saying that Laura is Mika cheap but damn are people blowing it over proportion with her. She's better now, top 10 sure, but top 3? Nah. Maybe top 5.

She's not too bad when you know the match up.

DS4 would be perfect if it came with 2 regular shoulder buttons. Sometimes, I'm sure I'm throw teching, but still get thrown because I didn't push the L2 trigger in deep enough for a response.

It's gonna be Helen actually, not Kolin. Kolin's been in the SF universe before V, but Helen hasn't. Semantics I know, but it matters.

And no, I hope she doesn't play like Poison. Poison should play like Poison, let Kolin be her own thing.

Also, I finally realized that Rose was inspired by Lisa Lisa from JoJo's. Jesus, the SF team really liked that show which I can certainly relate to.

Thanks, it was the only one I could find that wasnt porn or gigantic tiddies......well almost not gigantic.

Just played a FANG that did his CA every time he got it even at the start of the round without confirm and got hit by it every time. I cant punish it even on block

Works out fine for me, I don't use claw style either... pretty much all thumbs and then four fingers for the back. I normally use [] + / or X + O for EX moves by using my thumb to press both at same time.

I use this button config:

R1: Fierce
R2: Roundhouse
L1: Throw
L2: V-Skil
X: Jab
Square: Strong
Triangle: Forward
Circle: Short

And I never used claw style, just cause I find it hard. I've always been able to pull off everything I wanted.

All FANGs love to super when they get it especially on wake up since they know most don't know how to block/punish. I never try to challenge a fang with full meter lol though I'm getting better about punishing.

It's kind of tragicomic how that feature did not even last for a whole week before the servers started crapping themselves and Capcom had to do emergency maintenance .. great infrastructure there, fellas.

Capcom needs to staff the fuck up on this game. Get more people working on it or get better people working in it. Assuming their profit margins are too low to actually do this, maybe good guy Sony could throw a little more cash their way. They've supported the Pro Tour. Maybe they could do fucking something for the other 99% of the user base. I hear the PS4 is doing pretty well for them.

You put your name on it, make it truly good.

BeasTV in 4 hours with Nemo, Fuudo, and Daigo. Jiyuna said they're going to talk about what they want in a balance patch and why Nemo changed his main to Urien. This also means that Nemo will likely compete in the 8 man diamond tournament for Daigo's donation colosseum.

I'm super silver and matchmaking is still only matching me with low silvers in casuals which means I'm stuck fighting significantly weaker players who aren't even using their mains, which is terrible practice for when I go back to ranked and everyone's equally skilled and using their stronger characters.

Do super and ultra silvers not play casual because they're hungry for that gold? Help me, Capcom!

Edit: Prayers answered. Got a close match with a Bison and lost. Hubris!

he was prolly strong in S1 too just nobody had time to main him for a tournament

also, some of the S1 top tiers were nerfed so "he was strong in S1 too" must carry the addendum "compared to S2 characters"

Yeah I guess so. Still surprised more people aren't complaining about Necalli if they hate Urien so much.

Necalli is stubby. AA jab and reversal nerfs hit him fairly hard. People have more experience playing against him now.

Urien was probably always a bit flowchart-y and dumb. It seems like everything he has is relatively safe and rangey. But you could jump at him all day in Season 1 because not too many people were used to his options and they weren't very good to begin with. They're better now.

Not sure he has real weaknesses at this point, and significant strengths. Aegis is easily the best V-trigger in the game IMO.

Fang still a shitty fight, Guile is unfavotable. IMO Bison is bad.

His jab still AAs, but less reliably and he has a harder time getting the cross-under - which is half the reason AA jabs were busted to begin with. Him having to eat meatys is a big nerf IMO. All four of those characters were playing a different game a lot of the time because they had that option.

Don't think he's low tier now or anything, but I don't think he's at all busted. Urien on the other hand, might be.
