You get stuff all the time really fast and i have all premium skins and almost all shaders in the game for 0 bucks not much effort.
SFV meanwhile i need to sell my house to afford all the content in the game ever gonna have.
What's your profile level? I didn't think it was possible to get all the premiere skins for free.

lol, you're definitely not getting all the "content" in injustice 2 without eventually paying. I don't think there's any game released in the last 3 years where that can apply.

I decided to finally get off my butt and go to my first major for this game. I'll be at Defend the North this weekend and I just found out that Punk is in my pool (though on the opposite side of the bracket so I doubt I'll fight him). I'm hoping to go at least 2-2.

Back in my SF4 days I would play with real people far more often but now I feel like I've regressed to getting the shakes when playing IRL and it affects my execution. There are a number of factors at play...
Like, are the season passes on sale? Right now, $30 for season 1 and 2?
Or if you want to unlock them with Fight Money, a different calculus must be used.
It's different for everyone.
As you are aware, time is money. Everyone's time is worth something.
So you'd need to figure out how much time it will take in hours to unlock the DLC characters and then multiply that by how much your hours are worth (yearly salary divided by days in a year divided by hours in a day)
Going by the fight money route, assuming it takes 24 hours of game play it will cost me approximately $219 to unlock all the DLC characters.

Still prefer all DLC in Injustice 2 for 15-20 bucks in a year over Capcoms hundreds of dollars of content if you want all.
Wouldnt be so bad if Cashcom would put dollar only stuff in bundles and on sale once in a while.

Youll feel better once you get there. Like yeah you might have jitters but the community being so welcoming will melt that away. Focus on learning and growing, not winning.

Injustice 2 is bullshit because if I want a shader/premier skin I want I have to either fork out for source crystals to buy them straight away (because the rate you get source crystals is just as bad as the random drops) or wait for the one in a million chance that the specific shader/premier skin I want will one day drop.
That's because they don't drop from Mother Boxes. You have to unlock them with Source Crystals.
Ah my mistake then. Pretty sure I heard you could get them in motherboxes.

It's $105 for two years of Kontent in IJ2 (assuming they don't make a second UIltimate Edition) vs about $120 for 5 years of characters and stages in SFV. Def looks like SFV is the better value in the long term.
I agree with you on the bundling shit, though. Capcom should bundle every single themes pack into a $7-8 set for 3 costumes or $15 if they do four costumes and a stage again. The pricing on costumes is pretty bad regardless the reasoning behind it.
What? You don't even get all dlc with injustice 2 with the fighter pass. Each group of 3 characters is 20 bucks. I have no idea where you get the 20 dollar figure since all 9 are 40 bucks bundled. You don't get all premium skins for with any edition, you have to buy colors with real money, or hope you get something you like while "grinding" loot boxes. I've gotten like 2 colors for a character I like after opening hundreds.
Edit: yes, there are source crystals, but you earn those so slow it's not really a viable method of getting anything you want after you spend the bonus 5k you get for finishing story mode.

I still can't believe after paying real money for a premium costume, I then gotta pay FM to get more colours after 10 lol. Just give them all to me if I paid for it instead of making me pay extra afterwards.

I think the initial 10 colors for Ibuki's new retro costume are fine. I just want to know where do I go to pay more money so that her ninja mask works like her default costume's mask and isn't glued to her face when she attempts to remove it...
You get the first 10 colors for any premium outfit you buy.
Dunno about story. Been awhile since I bought one.

I don't have a problem with that since 10 has been the norm since jump.

Ok so I know that I suck at this game and I totally dropped the combo at the end of this clip (it was supposed to be EX Giant Flip into HP Abigail Punch but my nervous fingers missed a step) but god DAMN am I proud of this magic pixel comeback. Sure it was entirely cuz this Ken apparently didn't know that his wheel kick hits low, but still!

The colors cost too much, I agree (especially since the more expensive colors are just arbitrarily more) but they've always come with 10 colors, so I don't mind the fm extra ones.
Didn't they just add extra colors for dlc outfits recently?
