Huh. I thought it would be a PC release as well, saw Windows listed on the Wikipedia page last year - seems to have been a premature announcement from Capcom? Sven says he can't confirm either way, so I'm somewhat hopeful...dunno about the arcade-to-PC correlation thing being an obstacle.

Won't buy this if it's not on PC. I suck at controllers on 2d fighters. Made that mistake with SSFIVAE PS3, and ended up getting the PC version anyway.

That answer by Sven reads to me as: yes, there will be a PC version, but we didn't want to announce it yet.
