SFxT is very fun and I love the look. I don't mind the videos, but it does look better in person, I'll agree. I love the ad campaign Capcom is running with for the game. Their fighting games always have the best videos.

Lili's hair is a light platinum blond, not that golden tone.

I'd support Eagle, just to get a Street Fighter I/CVS2 guy in the game. Unless they want to pull out Retsu or something randomly.
 
I love the first part of Music in the trailer, it sounds like old school beat em ups in terms of sound. Very nice.

And yeah, wonderful to see Hugo out and about in the big world of SF again. His voice choice is a little odd, though I'm sure I'll get used to it.

What the hell does Hugo say in his intro? Sounds like "THEY MADE ME DO IT!!"
 
If you think about it, the only characters that make sense with Ibuki are Makoto or Elena and with Kuma, Heihachi, Roger or Gon.

But I'm betting on Makoto and Heihachi.

Geki could work for Ibuki, and that would be way cooler than Makoto. (Elena is also a suitable choice.)

Gon isn't a Tekken character, so I don't think he's going to be making it for Kuma. Heihachi seems most likely. (Panda could work too, though that would be boring.)

I'ma say we have a Gon to look forward to. Also I'm biased to wanting Elena in, but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be Makoto again (which isn't bad at all).

Also, anyone else see the 1 frame link Ryu does in the first part of the trailer? Execution skills still need to be tight it seems, I'll find a time stamp for y'all.

Edit: it's at about 1:01 in the trailer after Ryu does the 2 hit Punch, looks like he goes into a crouching M.Punch then an Ex Fireball.

It will be Heihachi at TGS. And there is a licensing issue with Gon.

Ibuki knows Sakura and has Sakura as her rival fight in SSF4. Group the two schoolgirls together. Done.

Makoto knows Sakura too of course and is also a schoolgirl, but the difference is that Sakura is a bigger and more popular character (probably 5th in the series behind Ryu, Ken, Chun & Cammy) and a reference to Rival Schools, another series.

I wouldn't say zero chance, but I know it's obviously not that high. (Despite Ono saying he wants to bring back characters that haven't been used in a while.) But it would be really cool if it did happen. (Eagle was first brought back in a cross over game, so it's not out of the question.)

Nothing against Makoto, but pairing her with Ibuki would be really boring IMO.

If they are going to go the school girl pair route with Ibuki, it'll probably be Makoto or Elena, not Sakura I think.

Sakura goes to a different school than the three of them, and if they are going to pair her with anyone that isn't Ryu or Dan, it's going to be Karin.

Oh I know they changed his VA, I just never expected his voice to be as deep or nasally as it is *shrug* Not complaining cause Hugo is BACK BABY! He's gonna be a great second character on teams. Just cross rush > [HugoTag] > end with some sort of back breaker!

Yeah I agree with you on the boring thing, they're always together but I think that, if they're bringing back "unused" characters, they will choose characters with more original gameplay possibilities. I can only see Geki with a Vega/Ibuki/Guy gameplay, but maybe it's only me.

Looked up for it and it seems he has the same as in 3s. Strange isn't it? Well I need to hear his japanese VA. Oh and I hope we see his stage. The Toy Store was brillant.

Edith: Okay my mistake, his VA in sfxtk is not listed. His english VA died 2006. What's with all these dead VA from 3s?

Well, Geki's been gone so long they could really do anything they wanted with him.

I actually think it would be cool to see him as a Claw/Ibuki hybrid. But it's not like Capcom hasn't made lots of similar characters before.

Eagle & Charlie, Alex & Biff, Urien & Q, Zangief & R. Mika, Ingrid & D.D., Sodom & Rolento, etc.

There are tons of interesting and fresh combination that could be introduced in this game. I know it's extreme wishful thinking, but I really don't want this to turn into SSFIV part 2.

Poison and Hugo are a great start (Poison especially), but I don't want them to stop there.

Cammy makes mentions to missions, but Rolento would beat her over the head with his big stick until she was unconscious. After which well.... let's just say the SF announcer talks to him in his head like he does Zangief.

New Metro city stage, with El Fuerte reference, the american diner from ST and SF4. And Yang is in the background. And a shadaloo sign in the dino crisis stage ( At least this is new to me).

This is such a weird match to make... I would understand a soulcalibur vs tekken or even a VF vs Tekken... But creating a game with characters from two different genres and forcing half the cast to addapt doesn't ring well with me.
