Lol he was hit with an uppercut and was out. As Herb comes in Fedor turns over but wasn't defending himself at all. Herb is the GOAT ref

Didn't he punch him in the back of the head twice? Is that not against the rules in Strikeforce? I thought he was going to separate them because of that, looked liked Fedor was still trying to defend himself, but there wasn't a great view, so he could have been out.

I guess if he was knocked out by the earlier shot it doesn't really matter.

Get over it, Fedor-ites, Fedor is officially on Larry Holmes status.

No it wasn't, Fedor was out on Hendo's first punch. People need to just get over Fedor. He's done.
Agreed. Fedor was out. Only thing people would've seen if this fight continued was Fedor getting his face bludgeoned.

Glad he agrees

Which is why he rolled into guard?

Herb was already calling the fight when Hendo landed 3 punches after the punch that made Fedor limp) without Fedor doing anything. And you should watch Fedor after he rolls over. He's still out of it and he isn't defending himself.

You gotta wonder what would have happened to Fedor had he come to the UFC after Pride folded. Yeah he fought Arlovski and Sylvia, but there are plenty of UFC Heavyweights that are just better fighters. Fedor's game didn't evolve enough, and these last 3 losses show it.

Fedor is just far too reckless with his stand up.
Its the way he's always fought. I knew it wouldn't fly against a top tier LHW. High level LHW's are too quick to get caught by Fedor.

I felt he still had time to recover. If not Hendo on top would of KO'd him again when he rolled over. Ref should of let it go a little longer. Fedor when he tried going to guard did not look wobbled to me.

Didn't notice this at first - Herb Dean just does not give a damn about rabbit punching. His track record as of late is just abysmal. I'm more worried when I see him at this point than I am for Miragliotta.

I would have liked to see Dean let the fight take place a few more seconds. Fedor was rocked by the shot, but I don't think you can conclusively say he was knocked out. He didn't go stiff and popped up quickly once the fight was stopped.

Exactly.

Good stoppage imo, Herb Dean was already on top of it when Fedor went limp, Dan would've just pounded him relentlessly if he hadn't stepped in

You don't have to be knocked out cold for a fight to be stopped in MMA. A flash KO=a KO. No standing 8 count. How quickly he might recover is irrelevant.

LOL

You Fedor guys really can't quit him, can you?
Ali ended his career on two losses, guess he doesn't have a legacy either. SO fucking dumb, how a fighter's career ends doesn't mitigate his accomplishments.

It was very slightly early I think.

That uppercut made his lights blink off for a sec, but it looked like he was recovering, he should maybe have gave him just 2 more secs to see if he could still defend.

It wasn't a terrible stoppage, though it looked like it was live. Fedor clearly went limp after that chin shot, only question is whether it looked like he was recovering or not, i thought it look like he might have been able to. I give him maybe a 5-10% chance that he could have recovered without getting knocked out again in the next 15 secs.

That was officially the weirdest knockout punch i've ever seen though, an uppercut from behind and on top? Strange.
