You do know that most extremists that kill themselves with explosives don't just wake up one day and say "boy, I'm gonna be a suicide bomber!" A lot of them are also troubled young people who really don't see any other way out.
We don't really know all the details but it is a shame that these people were in this class to begin with.

Regardless of where you come from, theres a lot of dumb people that need even the most simplistic of instructions explained to them in great detail.

Look, it's a tragedy that young kids are brainwashed to do these things for sure. But it is for the best that they offed themselves before they had the chance to hurt, maim, and kill hundreds if not thousands of completely innocent people.
The "pupils" being young and innocent would be little comfort to the families of the people they could have killed (besides if they achieve their goal, they were dead anyway).
Sorry but I feel no simpathy for them.

of course, and i do express a lot of relief that the idiot making the bombs and trying to orchestrate bombings blew themselves to pieces instead.
but the real 'bombers' are rarely the ones who end up blowing themselves up. it's usually kids who experience violence, abuse, indoctrination, and a lifetime of being treated like livestock in that sort of environment.

yeah, but.. the articles dont inform much and carry much news about the opposition. They use kids/teens/animals to suicide bomb. I agree with him though, its celebrating something horrible, that only results in more horror when the other class learns from their mistakes, and blows up more soldiers/civilians because of it.

No shit. There are a wide variety of issues that contribute to people signing up to be a suicide bomber. It would be great if we could figure out how to fix those issues. It's also terrible that these people got put into a situation where they felt that becoming a suicide bomber was their best choice.
With that said, once they cross that line and become prospective suicide bombers, I will not shed a single tear for them. Plenty of "bad people" throughout history probably wouldn't have become bad people had their circumstances been different. That doesn't mean that we should have a terrible amount of sympathy for them being victims of circumstance once they cross the line and start killing (or training to kill) innocent people.

I'm sure some people are, but even if you find that (likely) outcome upsetting, the irony (or whatever the word is for karmic/fitting tragedy) is functionally comedic. A joke can contain appalling elements, yet still be structured in a way that makes it funny. It can be surprising, clever or really obvious in just the right way.
