Can't believe people here are celebrating the deaths of innocent brainwashed and coerced kids :(

It is sad they were brainwashed into all this, its fucking terrible, but its not sad that these 23 crazies died before they could kill and injure dozens of healthy happy kids and destroy just as many lives of the surviving families. Fuck all the brainwashers and may the brainwashed fail every time and injure and kill only themselves.

I think people are looking into this too black and white.

Sure, good that these people are gone and can't hurt others, I agree.

But to just look at that point is quite saddening and don't bring justice to the story since most likely young people (kids?) died and who didn't know any better then what their superiors brainwashed them with.

So they all passed?

I'm wondering why there is even a need for a demonstration for a bomb vest. Don't you just push a button? I have to say though, it's frightening how many people they're able to pull in to do this stuff, whether it's brainwashing or offering money to their families or whatever. I just can't comprehend the thinking of throwing your life away so easily.

There are a lot of young kids in other parts of the world that don't think strapping a bomb to themselves and killing innocent people is a good idea. Why do we excuse these kids from that fact? It's a problem when we have a major religion that preaches that this sort of behavior is acceptable.

I don't know what the "right" response is to the death of a couple of dozen suicide bombers, by their own hand. One the one hand, I generally don't enjoy laughing when a human being, with a mother and father, who had hopes and dreams, dies. One the other hand, they had chosen to strap explosives to their bodies and attempt to murder as many human beings as possible.

I think there's room for both sadness and humor in this thread. So let people say what they want, and disagree with them if you need to, but treat each other with dignity and respect. Someone who experiences a different emotion than you at this event isn't evil or stupid or even wrong. They're different.

Respect it or I'll paint the thread gray.

Seriously fuck off and come back and tell us the same thing when you've lost friends or families or even friend's friends to those animals. You're absolutely disgusting.

All loss of life is terrible and in the case of these training suicide bombers there is a persuasive case where you can outweigh the loss of their lives relative to the enormous amount of harm they could/would have done to a significant amount of people.

I just don't think making tasteless jokes about it is the right approach.

Innocent?

You're trash if you think strapping a bomb to yourself and blowing up regular folks is cool, and fuck 'they were brainwashed'. They were all idiots and they died for their idiocy.

I don't think you understand how childhood indoctrination works. Anyways, I'm glad there are less suicidal bombers in the world, but also understand people are born into circumstances outside of their control.

Of course there are other people that isn't like these kids, but there are still people that are fragile compared to others due to internal and external factors.

Oh, and you just committed thread derailment with that comment about a major religion preaches this behavior.

An Afghan girl, 10, said she was forced to carry out a suicide attack, which failed, on a local police station in Helmand province, sparking an outrage from President Hamid Karzai and the international community.

in a place where 900 people will die by the time i'm done with this post, sure.. its a funny newsline. But just for those who aren't up to snuff on the calibre/age of folks participating in the on-going-war, this isn't a rare instance. Its just what I googled.. and its from 1.8.2014. Not trying to be a debbie downer, but some folks don't seem to think its as common as it seems to be.

No religion preaches this as an acceptable behavior.

indeed when you think about it, you wonder how many of the 'students' were pressured into even going to this workshop, and of those who went, even willingly, how many would actually follow thru and carry out an attack. i mean, we all know that many people never actually follow thru and use the talents they specialized for in school.

Lol if you think that education or a nice talk would suddenly convince these people to not kill themselves for allah

How fucking naive

Oh please. They are doing it in the name of religion regardless if they have perverted the message or not

Wait, so you are saying... what? They can't be corrected? They are born that way?

iirc her brother put a bomb vest on her and sent her to blow up a checkpoint. These people were training to become suicide bombers

These people were being trained to murder as many innocent civilians as possible, and people are surprised at the reaction in this thread? 23 deaths is not funny, but these people deserve no sympathy at all.
