noNow my only question is does buying the game off CD keys help support the devs?
So it has to be off Steam or is there another site I can use to get it cheaper?
gamesplanet is a fully authorised resellerSo it has to be off Steam or is there another site I can use to get it cheaper?
I didn’t see a way to search for clans in game. Or did I miss it? Think only leaders can invite people.NeoGAF
Algorithm is telling gamers to go on a blind angry crusade against Suicide Squad because it isn't Arkham 4. The game is legit fun. All the rage I've seen is from a mob of people that either have not played the game at all or just don't like you do what the game title says you are going to do.Its wild how much open spoiling is going on with this game. It's as if every YouTuber covering this game needs to openly spoil some aspect of the story.
That sounds fast.Beat the game tonight and will post impressions tomorrow.
Still need to do more end game to see what’s under the hood.
The game itself is a GaaS in similar vein to Warframe. You aren't getting the full story out the gate. Game will feature multiple seasons with new characters, maps, content, gear, story.
Catchy.NeoGAF
No it won't. Because it won't make enough money for that. This is the problem with defending GaaS games and buying them... unless you play a very small selection of them, you're never going to get the content that's promised to you. Instead, you'll get a very short campaign, followed by repetitive endgame stuff... and then they'll maybe put out one or two extra content packs... and then it'll die.
In no universe should we be buying and playing games that cost full price and deliver so very little. If this game was F2P, I'd have zero issues with the way the story 'ends', but for a $70 you're never going to convince me that 'that's all for now folks, come back for the rest of the story later!' is worth either my time or my effort.
And instead of insulting everyone who is dragging this game, maybe take a look at all the previous GaaS game disasters that have happened (including the fucking one about The Avengers, for crying out loud) and reflect on the fact that we're not being critical without very good cause.
Lol you make it more deep than it is, i don't give a fuck about dc or comics, i just wanted an infamous type of tps and next week there is helldivers2 so i give even less fucks about the game being forgotten if i can get a week of decent fun with it, i'm not a WB shareholder nor i plan to play the game for more than a week, the game could be forgotten today and i would not have a problem, not everyone bought this thing for the gaas aspect or to play it for 500 hours.I haven't played the game myself, but, my crystal ball prediction:
My guess is that the people stanning for this game will feel the regret burn in the next week or so, and it'll be forgotten in a month. And then they'll wonder to themselves, why do I like DC so much that I was willing to shill for a shallow GAAS?
There are people with 13 hours into the game and only 53% campaign completion. IGN was spreading more FUD after they didn’t get a free copy.So the story is around 10 hours, but hows the endgame stuff?
I mean, you could just, you know, hit the backlog or don't spend 70 bucks on a game for a week and just wait for helldivers?Lol you make it more deep than it is, i don't give a fuck about dc or comics, i just wanted an infamous type of tps and next week there is helldivers2 so i give even less fucks about the game being forgotten if i can get a week of decent fun with it, i'm not a WB shareholder nor i plan to play the game for more than a week, the game could be forgotten today and i would not have a problem, not everyone bought this thing for the gaas aspect or to play it for 500 hours.
The thing is, we really don't have many infamous type of tps, don't we?I mean, you could just, you know, hit the backlog or don't spend 70 bucks on a game for a week and just wait for helldivers?
I'd love a new Infamous.
Man, some people on here are so worked up over this that they're just inventing shit out of their heads.I haven't played the game myself, but, my crystal ball prediction:

Lol my son finished it in 10 hours, unless you literally force yourself to run around looking at scenery its nowhere near 13 hours long to run the story. Its just a series of the same mission, killing the same enemies, with a few variations on the same objective. Those people who are 13 hours at 53% are the same people who say shit like 'I'm 1400 hours into Skyrim and havent left Whiterun yet'.There are people with 13 hours into the game and only 53% campaign completion. We shall see if those glowing impressions of the game you have continue. I’ve seen people stan Forspoken, so anything is possible.Man, some people on here are so worked up over this that they're just inventing shit out of their heads.
Just continuing - man come on Sony give me infamous remaster. I’d love that so much. Infamous 2 rulesThe thing is, we really don't have many infamous type of tps, don't we?
last game that scratched that hitch was forspoken and it was a 6\10, even if this one is another 6\10 is still better than nothing.
We all have huge backlogs but sometimes we have that hitch to scratch immediately and i'm at home with my leg fucked up since mid december so i'm bored to fucking death
I actually liked Forspoken a lot.We shall see if those glowing impressions of the game you have continue. I’ve seen people stan Forspoken, so anything is possible.
Inf2 plays better and the powers are better but i like the plot and vibe of the city of the first one much much more.Just continuing - man come on Sony give me infamous remaster. I’d love that so much. Infamous 2 rules
i definitely get being bored of blockbuster games. I generally feel the same.I actually liked Forspoken a lot.
I have stopped trusting review sites lately. Both game and movie.
I think my tastes just diverged too much from mainstream, like I'll watch an IMDB movie that's like a 5 and love it.
I'll play a game like Forspoken and wonder "why the heck was it shat on so much".
I'll see a game like Spiderman 2 or God of War R and think to myself "this looks really boring why do people love it".
I'm done lol
I would support the complete death of all reviews at this point. Just let people buy games and make up their minds. Sub services would have more value since you could try things and just make up your mind yourself.I have stopped trusting review sites lately. Both game and movie.
I disagree. Steam has pos 2 hour window for refunds, the game has almost 2 hours of cutscenes after you launch it with barely any gameplay. Good luck figuring out whether you like the game or not while you haven't even played it pretty much at all. It should be at least 4-5 hours, 6 at max.Just let people buy games and make up their minds. Sub services would have more value since you could try things and just make up your mind yourself.
I support refunds. I just think it's pretty obvious what this game is like if you just watch gameplay footage. You can tell how it is and the quality level.I desagree. I was raised on Reviews in game magazines. But you're right, we can watch the games nowadays, still, reviews are still in my blood.I support refunds. I just think it's pretty obvious what this game is like if you just watch gameplay footage. You can tell how it is and the quality level.
People are too quick to let someone else give them an opinion. People should learn to just trust their own eyes. Reviews made a bit more sense when all we had is magazines. But anyone can just watch the games these days.
So when Reviews are coming in? The game releases tomorrow. It's really laughable.
Helldivers will be an average game that gets overrated.I mean, you could just, you know, hit the backlog or don't spend 70 bucks on a game for a week and just wait for helldivers?
I'd love a new Infamous.
This is a decent breakdown where he remains balanced and doesnt just hate on it because its not an Arkham game, he explains in rational detail why 90% of the game is shockingly shit
You can tell and many people did, but watchin' is not the same as buying and playing as you're suggesting people should do (correct me if I'm wrong).I support refunds. I just think it's pretty obvious what this game is like if you just watch gameplay footage. You can tell how it is and the quality level.
There's no reviews yet, but I agree with your take on the matter here. Buying the game is not an option though cuz of what I already mentioned. Also, when even previews (and videos after NDA was lifted) are almost 100% negative or at the very least not positive or neutral... it's kinda telling that the game is bad.People are too quick to let someone else give them an opinion. People should learn to just trust their own eyes. Reviews made a bit more sense when all we had is magazines. But anyone can just watch the games these days.
I mean he says it’s short, boring, the missions are not creative and they’re repetitive. The upgrades are not compelling, the weapons and upgrades aren’t interesting, and he has no interest in playing the endgame. You’re not going to throw those text bites on a box cover, are you?Watched that review.
He’s says the core gameplay is good but the mission design is a let down and repetitive. That’s about it.
Does that really qualify as ‘shockingly shit’?
Sure.I mean he says it’s short, boring, the missions are not creative and they’re repetitive. The upgrades are not compelling, the weapons and upgrades aren’t interesting, and he has no interest in playing the endgame. You’re not going to throw those text bites on a box cover, are you?
"Glowing" is not an accurate description of what I've posted about the game. I'm enjoying it, that's it. And my enjoying it right now doesn't have anything to do with whether I'm still playing it every night a month from now. That's just not how things work. I don't know what kind of brain worm you've developed about this, but it's tiresome. We shall see if those glowing impressions of the game you have continue. I’ve seen people stan Forspoken, so anything is possible.
[Rant bit you can ignore because there is no accounting for taste of the opinion of someone who spent 100+ dollars on a sunk cost fallacy early access]

This is very true.Oh that's great then, how about they charge me a 10th of the current price then since that what I'm getting now, and then they can use their extensive monetisation that makes most free 2 play games blush for the other stuff. I mean you used warframe as an example, can you tell me the cost of buying Warframe?
I love These $60 Free 2 play games, wow so much value.
That's a fair point, so it comes down to is $60 worth some characters? From current known players the answer is no. But hey it could be successful on console, they do go for different things, it'll show up on xbox most played sooner or later. This is very true.
But the reason you’re paying $60 is because of the IP involved. As opposed to a silver, non descript space ninja.
I love the amount of people that are like, "YO THIS GAME IS SHIT! LOOK AT WHAT THIS PERSON SAID!" while completely disregarding that there are multiple people actively playing it in here saying, "Hey guys, it's actually pretty fun."
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, of course. But I'd personally listen to multiple people on GAF before believing some random content creator.
I mean, it's obvious, isn't it? Rocksteady made a few of the best singe-player games of all time. Now, they've released what is, at best, a mediocre GAAS game. It's like when one of your favourite bands releases a mediocre or bad album. It's disappointing, and you don't want them to continue down that path. No one wants more St. Anger from Metallica. No one wants more Metroid Other M."Glowing" is not an accurate description of what I've posted about the game. I'm enjoying it, that's it. I couldn't agree more, it's no 90+ game, I don't think anyone should've expected that. But I've found it enjoyable and not really worthy of the crosshairs its had on it. But this is coming from someone that was never into Destiny 1/2, etc. So, I never really played a live service game outside of Diablo IV. But it's scratching some itches.I have a friend who says exactly that, he says it's not that bad, people just have a hate boner for it...
He's currently playing Gramblue and has been for hours.
