This episode is like one of those like Pikachu's Goodbye where they make it seem like this is the end, but it's so obvious that it isn't. Not only that, a new girl is introduced at the very end of the episode. Hopefully the next episode is back to form.

I must ask whether you are watching the dub or not. This is one of the few good dubs if only for the best character in the show.

Every time I think of this show I think of the banana scene.
I have literally forgotten everything else about the show.

That was weird eps. It started with the super grim message that 2000 or so players died in the first month and then it pops into your standard anime OP with tons of lovely lasses and ends with:

Seriously, did the writer finish the first novel/chapter or w/e and realize this badass grim mmo story won't sell, and flip the genre or something?


Anyhow, the eps was pretty great. Animations weren't smooth but stuff looked good. Love how kirito runs and rolls around. Feels 'lively'. That finisher was pretty great as well (did asuna just slash with a rapier? O_O), shame it's too long to gif at a decent size.

And I gotta love Kiriko's new 'persona'. I totally expected a cheesy speech and reasoning, but instead he completely deflected the question and equipped his neo coat and walked off like a badass.

Well, they never state what stats/level Kirito is, maybe the leader has piss poor stats/level which is why he's aiming for the last attack bonus item to power himself up.

Didn't the black guy say "Congratulations" in English. I thought that was a hint that he was not Japanese, but this just follows the typical everyone speaks one language despite being from all over world logic.
Maybe online translators are actually competent in the future. We already established the big bad is Scottish.

And yes this game would be liable for a law suit in the UK for misleading the consumer. The families should at least expect their money back for their child's death.
