Well I and Thoraxes like it. A few people here didn't. I just thought it had some really awesome weapons and probably the most hot-blooded female protagonist I've seen.

Talk about cultural differences. Coming to school with those would get you expelled from any high school in America. I guess it's different when you know they're fake.
The new OP is quite a bit better than the first one.
This arc really is putting the cultural festivals of other anime to shame. It almost makes me wonder if KyoAni chose to adapt this just for this arc.
They must read GAF, because they animated one of our arguments. I'm pretty sure Mayaka would fit right in here. The reveal was hilarious.

If you do end up taste-testing it, try episode nine or ten as all of the initial setup is complete and these are the first episodes that do the show's usual formula well.

kinda looking forward to your impressions re: the latter half of the show, because it just hit some really damn good highs later on.

I thought the whole point of split cours was to improve animation quality!
About three bucks more for a smaller sized meal(like both mediums but Japanese portions are smaller).

Random googling netted me a menu from whosknowswhen, where a Big Mac Value Meal thingy with fries and a soda costs 560 yen.
Which with more googling, shows that's about 7 dollars.
