well thats half of my answer...However, I dont think its boring. They certainly do more than the typical school club irl, so Ive always been intrigued.
I feel guilty for laughing as much as I did while watching Joshiraku. So amazingly self-aware, I just couldn't help it.
Watashi is a fantastic character, and one of the best MC's in recent memory. It's a shame the show doesn't have a higher budget, the artstyle is fantastic and the author definitely dropping LSD or some shit while he writes this stuff.

Latest episode of Jinrui not as laugh out loud funny as the previous two. Don't know how they got the ink and paper in such supply, don't know of any currency system they were using or whether everything was being done for free - in that case how did Y get rich? Probably over-thinking it, but when you're not laughing it's kinda hard not to be distracted by these unexplained issues.
The K-ON! movie disc release is in one day and a bit, that will have you covered for days of discussion... but on what thread? I wonder... this one or the other? Will people be allowed to talk about it in here?

The general impressions from the fans seem pretty good, but I didn't read stuff related to the story (spoilz!). Mostly they find the setting and characters interesting, and the robot action really impressive.

Huh, so Sunrise are so unsure about Akito the Exiled that they are sticking characters from the original series in it right from the beginning. I feel like I'm being reassured already even though the series hasn't begun yet!
If they're going to be doing that they need to just say screw the story of the original series and stick Lelouch in there too.

I want to see Lelouch, but I'm sure Spinzaku has fans too. I've never seen one before but I'm sure they exist somewhere.
I wish they would bring back animated GIF avatars too. It's not as if GAF magically became more stable or reliable after they were removed, you can still kill GAF with E3 or Steam sale.
If it's set between R1 and R2,
basically everybody except Lelouch is available to show up.
No one really knows how long Akito goes through the timeline, but it starts during R1 afaik. It doesn't specifically take place in-between, because it's a different story about a different region.
That whole crossed-out wanted poster of Zero makes me think it's set mostly after the ending of season one though, even if not into the next year yet.

Suzaku will return? Now Im hyped. Suzaku, Lelouch ,and Rolo were the best aspects of Geass, so it will be interesting to see how the ones that return interact, hopefully well, with the new characters.
