I love it. No one in their right mind would watch these sports if they were on regularly but every four years they become the most fascinating sports in the world for 15 mins.

Well, in those rare instances, the internet's already spoiled me hours in advance so there's no need to watch.
Don't get me wrong! I find the Olympics hugely entertaining, I was making more of a dig at NBC's obsession with showing a handful of sports at the expense of all others.
I'm also too lazy to stream instead of watch television
Sounds as bad as CTV where they only keep focusing on showing Canadian athletes getting owned in most of the competitions.

There's so much bullshit in this show. You mean to tell me someone created a VR interface that completely disables your real body? That's just asking for trouble. If the game takes hella long to beat and nobody in the outside world can take the visor off, won't some of these people possibly die of thirst and starvation because they're vegetables now?
Is this technology brand new or something? Is the Japanese equivalent of the FTC retarded? How could that possibly get out into the public market?

There's a HUGE suspension of disbelief involved in enjoying SAO.
They haven't even discussed the creator yet. He and his crew have to be somewhere deep in hiding, and the Japanese federal government must be in some kind of crisis mode right now due to all the homicides. They haven't touched on this at all. On one hand, you sort of feel trapped in the game with the player... on the other hand, so far we're only getting a narrow view of the story at large. Meanwhile, we can all pretend not to be excited at the moe loli service. I'll be the first to say that I'm not excited about it at all! I'm definitely not excited.

I haven't seen you post in here before, so welcome.
At the very least you've made it through Terra e...'s rather weak and generic opening section. I'd say that's easily the worst part of the series and many people drop the show there because it seems like it's going to be a rather silly, generic show with bad art.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the series.

All those action scenes were pretty exciting to watch, but I literally went "HOLY SHIT" when Renton came through the wormhole in the Nirvash SpecX to save Naru. But then... she just.... kills him. Wtf. This can't be real right?

The Project Diva games are totally worth it, esp. since the PSP is region-free.
Right, I heard it was shipping FROM Japan. Apparently if the battery is removable from the device, such as a phone, it will be removed and the device shipped but now you need to get another battery.
Sounds good about the games. It's these type of niche games that I pretty much play now. Others are JRPGs and shmups. I'm not really interested in a lot of these iphone type ones that are popular now. Some might be fun but then I get bored of them rather quickly.
Okay, well not any time soon but in the end maybe I'll give the show a watch sometime.

As much as I'm enjoying the current arc I really want to see the next one too. That artwork is very nice with some interesting character dynamics shown. Kimonos seem like an annoyance to put on,especially if your busty, but some are really beautiful looking.

Well, I don't just get annoyed by CG animation because it replaces previously well done traditional animation. I just find that having two different visual techniques welded together is distracting to the point where it takes me out of the experience of watching the anime in question.
Based on the quotes Dresden has posted he's actually suffering from depression due to being one of the few self-aware hack writers.
